having bought a mondeo 3 years old i've now got an engine management warning light on. phoned local ford dealer who cant fit me in till late next week, it still drives question is, is it still safe to drive few hundred miles b4 getting it looked at,or do these lights come on when its due for a service help would be appreciated.
aahhh it'll be fine and if it starts makeing any funny noises.........................turn the stereo up
Engine management lights come on very are usually caused by a duff HT the car drives fine an is not missing you will be ok useing it and you might find the light goes out on its own
ok thanks guys like i said its booked in for thursday morning, but should be ok taking mrs to a club tonight
mondeos have a connector under driver`s seat ffs. if this comes apart it brings the ecu light on
only thing i've ever done with a mondeo is driven over one or two with a 101 land rover at the war and peace show :lol
the light starts flashing don’t drive it as it a emissions fault and it could nacker your cat converter if you are in the RAC or AA call them out they Carrey a pc to read the fault
sorry, i sooooo have to keep out of this one
perhaps you should throw the car since they are just so boring x Bikes are better
we have a motor bike as well as car, nah nah nah nah
