dear admin,
just wondering if you or someone could tell us where our add has gone?
we have redone the add twice now and it keeps disappearing. banghead
has anyone else found this problem or is it just us who are being victimised lol
serious though, it has just disappeared poke dunno
it was in women seeking women entitled fem to fem wink
May be it is in the wrong section - with you being a couple.
Apparently, even if you are a couple of women you can't have an add in women seeking men - because of the couple status of the account... though I have yet to find a guy complaining about there being two women and not just the one rolleyes
The only thing I can think of is if you are one of the many couples that advertises in the 'Women seeking Women' section that isn't looking for a 1-2-1 female/female meeting.
A lot of couples seem to think that that the husband/boyfriend "just watching" makes it women seeking women... errrr no that's a couple seeking women. rolleyes

No... that would never happen would it? wink
the add was for laura and another fem
ergo fem 2 fem dunno
Why cant a female of a couple advertise for a female to meet by herself dunno
I have lost count of the amount a couples profiles I have seen where the only ad is a men seeking women/men seeking couples ad...

I was only speculating.
If the advert was for Laura and another fem and you weren't going to be there then I have no idea.

They can Mallock. It's just in the Women seeking Women section where I spend quite a bit of time searching, there are a lot of couples who think the male only watching or only playing with his partner constitutes a fem seeking a fem and not a couple seeking a fem which in fact it is.
That's the only reason an advert would be deleted on the grounds of the single/couple issue, because it's in the wrong section.
I was picking up on PL's post more than anything Kiss smile

Don't try and apply logic ffs!
If two women (with a fem+fem account) can't advertise to meet men in 'women seeking men' - then why should a male+female account be able to advertise in women seeking women confused

Ahhh I see!
Because the advert was for a female couple seeking a male. So it got deleted because apparently it should have been in the couples seeking males section.
Although it was placed in the women seeking men section. It doesn't actually say single woman seeking men. And two women IS women! :lol2:

i do understand what you are saying miss kiss but rather than just deleting it, surely a polite msg stating that fact would both be curious and polite.

I dont profess to be the one with all the answers.....
I agree with Mallock, I can't see why 'anyone' cannot advertise for whomever they would like to meet regardless of their membership!
Wasn't there something a while ago about stopping people from pretending to be something they aren't ?
i.e. - Stopping singles (usually guys) pretending to be couples.

If a "couple" only has ads in the men seeking section then its a good chance(but not always) that its a single male but some couples have ads in many sections as we used to....
Cant see why its not permitted really...

not quite sure what you mean by this dammie dunno
but yes we are a cpl, we have a cpl`s profile and we have pics of both of us on our profile, so i don`t expect that we would get away with anything else but being a cpl even if we tried. lol
the add was for laura!
i do agree with the point of "being honest" though.
i suppose that`s why you see so many adds with "fem 2 fem chat needed", or things like that.
ok. if the add was deemed to be in the wrong section i can live with that.
but surely we should have been given the opportunity to change the categories and not just have the add deleted. time, effort and thought went into the wording of the add and now it has just disappeared. that is my point!!
to me that strikes as a lack of respect and a bit big brother ish.
if it is the case that it has been deleted (not sure because no one has told me).
i think it's only common courtesy that should an ad be removed by admin/mods then they could send a short PM explaining why.
Have you put up a Support ticket or contacted a mod direct - with a copy of the ad specifics you intend to use?
Couples can advertise in the 'single' sections (i.e. men seeking women) but only if they are planning to do what they are advertising for as a 'single' person.
If a female advertises for a female but the male half is going to be there too they are not playing as singles but as a couple.
Two men can't advertise in 'Men seeking Men' because they are a couple. So it should really be renamed 'Man seeking Man'. lol
Couples shouldn't be advertising for 'men' but for a man instead. Men would imply more than one which would make them a couple. :lol2:
I could go on but I have lunch to eat.

I can see that it would be a lot more curteous in the case of a genuine misunderstanding, but I wonder how many ads a day the mods delete from the couples or women seeking sections that are actually single males?
And of those how many are doing it deliberately just to gain more exposure.
I do feel for Philstar, but I can kind of understand what the mods are up against and if they pm'd every person who put their ad in the wrong place and everyperson whose email they deleted from an ad, they'd never get anything done.

I mean that . . . . .
A while ago, during the site "changes and set up" processes that went on at the time, 4T were asked if they could do something to cut down the amount of people advertising in the wrong/incorrect sections/categories. One example of this was single men pretending to be couples.
I think some sort of automatic inhibitor was put in place to help cut down on the problem. But . . . the inhibitor is possibly some sort of "across the board" type thing; in that "xyzaccounts can only placed Photo Ads in xyzand abc, but not fghcategories"
:bs:
oh feck it,
think we`ll just stick to going to the clubs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
phill has now just spit his dummy out, all toys are thrown out of the cot and the mattress is soon to follow. banghead flipa

in edit: mattress can now stay in the cot.
could someone please pass my dummy. ta.
did your ads have specific dates in,ie fem 4 fem on friday 15th jan...if so that could of been the reason for them dissapearing...we've had ads with dates in and after the dates passed they've been removed and we've had to re-write them.
no, no dates creampie123
good try though.
hey just had a tought!!!!!!!
we could turn this into a challenge thingy!

Actually it takes sweet FA effort to send a message explaining why ads have been removed - they click the reason for removal button and a standard PM can be sent. After all, they do it if they accidentally click on the wrong button, recording that your ad was deleted because it contained contact info such as a telephone number or email address and it also issues you with a warning.
If they can do it for that, then surely it is not rocket science to have an auto-send message saying it was in the wrong category dunno

An autosend message sounds good
thank you ladys.
i thought it was just me being pissed at the lack of respect. :rose:

Both posts spot on and it we had a drop down or button to click similar to the ones we have for hidden email or phone number we would use them.
It has been discussed but not decided on because we have no idea how many options to have :lol2:
Your ad has been deleted because it was the same as the one in CsC
Your ad has been deleted because it is out of date
Your ad has been deleted because you are a couple advertising in WsW
I could go on but I have more ads to delete :lol2:
As for philstarnchoozy, you had an ad removed from WsW that was from a couple according to your notes
Anything else I can help you with, drop me a pm biggrin
