Question. Correct Forum Ettiquette..

Ummm - being a Newbie around here (Or "noob" according to Vix) I was just wondering how long in advance one needs to post a holiday application form? Is it the standard two weeks? Just want to make sure I get it right, 'cos I hear the mods around here can be pretty strict on stuff like holiday applications.

Well we need a minimum of 7 days notice using a Standard Leave Application Form or for less than 7 days notice we need an Emergency Leave Application Form to be completed.
If you have problems finding them let me know and I wil go hunting for them!! wink

Does the two weeks apply only to Holidays? I have to go to the doctors and can only get a daytime appointment... would the Mods mind if I took a half day, or would I have to take a full day?

Comrades!
I have been off "sick" for 6 weeks and have been signed off for another month today (IRL). Now, as I am unfeasably important in my company's Union, they have been nice as pie to me.
I believe, and therefore, propose that this community found a Union to protect all our rights, be they rights of Moderator or member.
I propose that we all stand, shoulder to shoulder/face to face/face to back/back to back* to join together as one. United - we stand/lie/crouch. Divided - we do it anyway with someone else.
