Quick Question - Young Blokes

Hi
I'm a young lad and i've been lurking on here for around a month (I only found out tonight that you need to register seperately for the forum rolleyes

!) and i'm just wondering what the general view of the younger people on here is. Are we just seen as immature or is there something else to it?
Is this website mainly the domain of older people wanting to meet older people or do the younger guys stand a chance?
Basically what i'm asking is when you see a youngish lad posting do you instinctivley move on to the next message
Am wondering because so many people set a lower age limit of around 25, obviously everyones entitled to their own preferences but it does seem to be that people don't like the young guys (and I am being very general here because there are a few profiles advertising for young lads) and i'm just wondering why!!
Sorry if thats come accross as a whinge (i've seen some of the roastings given to some of the newbies in here and would like to avoid that at all costs if possible) and any advice would be appreciated.

It is presumed by many that the very young are not emotionally equipped to deal with swinging and that is the reason some people do set a lower age limit. For some it's simply a matter of personal taste, and there are plenty who do like younger guys.
What you will find from almost everyone however is an initial caution when greeting younger new members. We would hesitate to admit to prejudice, but the unfortunate fact is we do get some dickheads, and the dickheads usually turn out to be young guys who post a couple of "hey i've got a big willy, form a queue" posts, then disappear. Once you've joined in a bit and got yourself known and shown yourself to be one of the non-dickhead-type younger guys, your youth won't be held against you and you will find enough people eager for your youth to be held against them to keep you smiling. My advice is don't be in a hurry, get to know the people, let the people get to know you, and you'll be fine. smile

Any way, Hi and enjoy SH. I hope you have fun on the site. So,as long as you behave in a mature way you will be treated in the same manner. You sound from what you have said up to now that you will be a asset to our community and hopefully you will contribute sensibly with both humour and common sense and that is probably the key on here along with the word "Fun". Welcome, I am sure we all look forward to your posts.

We,re all a bit sceptical with young guy,s at first cos we geta lot of idiots and arseholes who just want to brag about what they got in their pants ( which is not in their pants, but between their ears) smile

i,m sure you,re not one of those, as for meeting older people well everyone has their own tastes which we all respect, our swinging partner is only 32 and we,re in our 40,s, and we,ve met with a couple of younger guy,s ..who we,ve stayed friends with, but we,ve also had (fun) with guy,s our own age too!! so age does,nt always matter so HAVE FUN , luv sexyann * baz xx hump

the sight is for all ages (well...18-90).
I'm only 24, and i'm not seen any different... well except the "school boy" jokes i get
if you have got a mature respectful approch and don't act like the average "youngster" you get on fine and ppl will give that repsect back.
i know i say this every time, but get ya self to a munch, its gotta be the best thing i have done in a long time (well i started of at a party).
there is a post in "let meet up" about adving single guys, which is a good read

It also helps if you have a huge purple belly that wobbles when you smack it. lol

I'd love to be 21 again. Just think - no aching joints, no clicking when you get out of your chair, and you can drink as much fizzy water as you want with no after-affects. *sigh*

I don't even consider someone's age when I read a thread/post unless it's age-specific - eg: the numerous notsalgia posts.
As long as you are respectful of others and don't use annoying mobile phone text-speak on here, you'll be fine.

Vix.......I'm pretty sure Judy isn't really the supervising type. More of a doer than a watcher I reckon. I rather think that whilst we were busy looking after the 'head' end Judy would be trying to feed you a spare sausage at the other. Mind you, if that's what you had in mind................ :twisted:

I totally agree.
Maturity sometimes has absolutely nothing to do with age!
Your post oozed maturity!
We also get many 'older' members who are totally immature idiots! - and not immature in a good way eitther.
Just be prepared to join in and be in the ceratin knowledge that at sometime people WILL take the mickey -but it will be done in a friendly way and have no malice behind it.
We are always taking the mickey out of each other - the humour is part of what makes this site just what it is - a great community!
So welcome - I look forward to bumping into you in the threads on here!
