Having just had a bit of news worth celebrating I wanted to share it with you guys, giving us all an excuse for a unashamedly feel-good, lovey dovey cheerful thread!
An hour ago, I got a call from my best m8. She was all teary, full of the flu, & close to collapsing. Nothing too serious? Unless you're all kitted out waiting for your name to be callled to fight in a national Martial Arts Tournament!
I told her, as you would, that pulling out was the sensible thing to do. She said "I know".
I then said "But we both know thats not what you're gonna do, is it?" At that point, her name was called on the tannoy so she hung up.
Half an hour ago I got another call. "sit down" she said " I got Silver!"
Now needless to say I am as pleased and proud as punch of the old tart, & wanted to say so publicly.
On a tangent, I also want to "big up" Mr winch- simply for being the wonder that is him on a daily basis!
So, if you needed one....here is your excuse to say well done / I love you/ thank you
to anyone you feel deserves it! If its for bringing you toast in bed, or doing a charity marathon on a pogo stick...............sing someones praises you shiny happy people!
