I want to 'big up' PeteSW for being such a trooper during his recent illness and treatment. He still found the time to comfort me when I lost my best mate last month and gave me a shoulder to cry on when I got the news - literally.....( sorry for the soggy bits hunni redface

You have no idea how certain parts of me at certain times need bigging up... The bloody vaccuum pumps are a waste of money and if I hand any more weights from it, it'll end up looking like a sledgehammer...

I'd like to big up my best friend in the world - he knows who he is but is very shy so i wont name names lol - he has just seen me thro one of the roughest times of my life and made me smile again, all at the end of a computer (thank heavens for technology eh lol)

I would like to big up worlass. She is always perfect but this evening she has done me a huge favour and completed a report for me that I needed to do for work. I love her more than I can say and am so glad that she is in my life.

All the paid/volunteer fire-fighters in Australia - been a horrendous, scary and worrying time for all involved over the last last three weeks. Hope they all come back safe and well to their families.

I have lots of friends here and I'd like all the girlies (and some of the blokes) to have a Big Up tonight. There are so many things that make mates great.
I have a great friend who has a very good habit of keeping in touch! I live miles away from most of you and although I spend a shedload of time here, sometimes it's nice to have a letter through the post, a silly card, a pair of bah humbug knickers sent for Christmas (that actually arrived in April no less!) or a phone call for a quick chat to touch base and catch up. I can be very good at that, I like to send nonsense through the post, and those of you who've been silly enough to tell me where you live will know that, but sometimes I can be bad at it too. I think we all spend a lot of time being busy and not enough time taking that half hour out of our day to pick up the phone or even a pad and a pen. This friend does that. Out of the blue she calls to say hello and it really does mean a lot that you can pick up where you left off and just slide into that friendship without any difficulty whatsoever. I'm incredibly lucky that I do that with many of you. Thank you for that, I'm gifted with top mates!
I have another friend who knows when to slap me when I'm being a muppet, talk sense to me when I'm thinking too much, laugh with me (or even at me) when I'm being me and understanding enough to accept me for just that. She hugs me when I'm down and is there for me when I need her without having to be asked. I like to think I'm all those things for her too. She invited me into her home and her family for Christmas which was exactly what I needed at the time. I had a fabulous time and one of the best endings of the year that I could have hoped for. We saw in the New Year and had such a laugh, better company I couldn't have had.
These are just a couple of my circle of friends, without whom I'd have certainly not had a fabulous night in my PJs and slippers, playing trivial pursuits and drinking mugs of tea at a swingers party. Hardened my arse! lol

All these people who are here to have as much sex as possible with as many people as possible... brilliant! You go for your life. Have a fabulous time. Be safe and enjoy! I'm a little envious sometimes, maybe it would be nice to go out and do that fucking and fucking off thing but it's not for me. I'm bloody lucky that others share my view else I wouldn't have the crowd of mates that I have. What works for me is just that. Being allowed to be me with the people I choose to spend time with and allowing them to do the same.
These are people I've met on the internet. These are people I've played ping-pong tennis with, some of whom I've never met, some of whom I've even had fabulous sex with. :rascal: Yeah we all came here for sex, but the most valuable thing I'll take out of here are my friends who would be my friends whether I were here or not. The support network never fails to amaze me, wisdom, laughs and hugs when you need them with no price to pay. These are the things that money truly cannot buy. I'm still a friendoholic. It's important.
Sorry... I didn't mean to drone on and this post has ended up completely differently to my initial intention which was of the same thought but not the same content. redface

Anyway... in amongst all this pink fluffiness I guess what I'm trying to say is Big Up your friends. You can't pick your family but you can pick the people who you share the part of your life with that's away from the humdrum of every day stuff. Whether they be school friends or internet friends or work friends or any other kinda of friends. Appreciate them, they deserve it, as do you.
