We had a dog but she died very recently  and I miss her terribly  The snakes are lovely to handle but they are quite boring really - don't do tricks or anything

I used to own a 14ft burmese pythons, was only small when i got her and soon out grew everytingi love snakes, i like smaller ones cause they faster and more fun but the big ones are just great, mine used to get on the bath with me  wasn't much room left tho with a 14 ft python coiled round the plug, also used to keep rats but they not that unusual are they?

FB you are sooooo naughty....
they arent meant to do tricks.....there a species that has gone unchanged (except size) for millions of years.....the perfect hunting machine......handling them stimulates their senses and they get used to being handled very quickly...in america ive picked up corn snakes in the wild and never been bitten off 1 ....good starter snake.....
i had about 10 corns in a big tank with a boa constrictor.....feeding time was a bit of a bugger though...
naught naughty FB:smackbottom:

This seems to have gone to a snake appreciation thread but as different "pets" - and I use the word carefully as they were NEVER pets - I have had a couple of owls and a kestrel in my time.
