You know you have to feed them on live crickets?

I do, although not always crickets but some other flying insect thingy
I have been forced to read pages from websites for the past couple of months
I thought I would put him off by taking said child to the reptile shop and making him handle the damned things. Three visist later and he is loving them more and more
I don't like it but I know I will give in because thats what parents do
rotflmao I will have to visit when it is eldest son's birthday... I love things like that Dawn biggrin
Girls are so much easier you know.... My eldest got a ring for her 18th on Tuesday wink
We dont have any pets at the minute although we did have an imaginary cat called Sassy for a while confused :giggle:
Geckos or corn snakes are best for kids, we were advised. We have two corn snakes, both about five years old now. Each of our kids has one in their room (girl has girl snake, boy has boy snake).I love going to the reptile shop and handling the animals though. Except the bloody spiders :scared:
Said child did want a corn snake when he first started looking into it, Ian wasn't having any of it :lol2:
As soon as we visited the reptile shop, he completely loved the geckos! Luckily enough, the shop we can buy one from (along with everything needed) also does holidays visits so we have no worries making sure he gets good care when we go away

We had to feed these to our white tree frogs, they kept escaping and would frequently land in front of you while you were watching TV lol
