Hi
Last sat 4 of us (2 cples) went to a club in Blackpool which has a swimming pool.
After a little while we all ended up in pool and began palying with the lilo and generally having a laugh and indeed a cple of others joined in .
After 10 minutes or so a man came into the pool swam up to me and said this is a swingers club not a playground.
We carried on but have to say his attitude rather spoilt things and killed a fun atmosphere.
None of us are kids but we are young at heart and like a laugh
Yes its a swingers club but I did not see a sign saying its only for sex !
Thoughts anyone ???

Ou, I don't want to go against the grain here, oh what the hell.
I was at a party with a pool where several of the guests were mucking about, it made it impossible for anyone else to use the pool cos we kept getting kicked or elbowed or hit with an inflatable :shock:
A little consideration would have been nice.

It was the Lilo ............... Lilo rage.........
Its a growing menace causing encounters of the unwanted kind in swimming pools, paddling areas and groundsheets on camping sites.
You are lucky you are not being put back together by a forensic coroners team.
Now we all learned how to leave towels on the loungers in Malaga, to stop the Krauts grabbing the best places by the pool......................... lilos are next.

We're ones that find it essential to have a wet area in a swinging club - now, depending on the wet area at the time, will affect our behaviour....
For instance, if there's noone else in the pool, then we'll muck about, have a bit of a laugh and play fight
:bounce:If there are a few people in there, but no playing, then we'll natter to them, or just bob about yapping to each other (while secretly trying to flip the other persons feet from under em! 8-) :twisted: )
If there are people in there already getting cosy, then there's noway we'll get in, muck about and destroy that atmosphere
Nowt worse than being in a sexual playing environment, things heating up, becoming more and more erotic - and someone does a dive bomb, with shrieks of laughter and general 'mucking about'. So offputting and I can't abide it.......... Same goes for the other play areas too - can't stand it if you're getting all hotted up and people are stood watching, talking about the weather, football n stuff :shock: Thoroughly bad manners IMO, which should be kept away from playing people and if theres nowhere else to have their natter - then why can't they go back to the lounge rooms, that are social? 
Anything like that is guaranteed to have me stop playing and going back to the lounge until these people have gone :?My thoughts are that it is a swinging club and once an erotic atmosphere builds up between people, full respect should be given to that.
But, like I said - if the atmosphere in a pool is general mayhem as opposed to sexual play, then we'll join in with that and have a blast, we love it :bounce: But the moment play starts, then we do tone down our behaviour to suit.

Like you said, there is a time and a place for different things. Most people can and do guage an atmosphere and act accordingly - sounds like the guy who approached you was trying to speed things along and not reading an atmosphere at all

This club seems a little cramped!
