"Save Mail" feature permanently abandoned

For some while the "Save Mail" feature of the mail system has been "on hold" and any mail you had previously saved was dumped in your inbox. Having raised a support ticket at the time I have now been advised that the "Saved Mail" feature has been abandoned and from now on there will only be an inbox and an outbox with no ability to save or segregate mail.
Personally I would have liked some of the " " style features such as the ability to save to folders etc, but it seems this is not to be.
How does everybody feel about this ??
Should we the users be pressing admin to at least keep it in mind as a "Would like to have..."

I don't wish to fan any flames as I don't know how this thread will be received but I have over 700 messages/winks in my mail box and was kind of hoping that the save feature was going to happen and ideally with a few more email facilities added.
If the mailbox stays just as an inbox/outbox it's just going to get ridiculous and impossible to manage.

I got a wink at about 2am this morning biggrin

unfortunatley it was from a straight bloke who lived 250miles away. so he was either pissed, pressed the wrong button or my reputation as a ladies love god is so good even straight blokes in scotland are trying their luck wink

There is a completely new mailbox being launched in the nearish future with folders etc so you can title and store your messages. The development is completed but it needs a lot of testing before we can put it live biggrin
