rabbit has miximatosis

hyah peeps
.. this is a bit of an emergency.. my rabbit is suffering with miximatosis.
well i think it is this.... it has gone VERT listless! is hardly moving at all!
am not sure what to do to get it back on its feet again, was gonna call the vet.. but think i might try a battery change first! wink

mixy involves eyes being very sticky. have you noticed much stickiness?

that proves it!! my diagnosis is right!! he has been very sticky as well as listless.. i heard that "buzzwipes" are a good symptom reliever! lol

Mxy involves swelling of the eyes with a discharge, also a discharge from the noise and if it has got to the stage where it has lost weight then the symptoms would have been noticeable for several days.
Really only one cure for it if it has got mxy and that is to have it destroyed.

If it gets Halitosis as well, I would suggest that niether the vet or the Ever Ready shop would be a good idea and that you are better off going to the shop and getting another one

WBB I suggest that u put it out of its misery and throw it in the bin.................you are going to keep Anne Summers in business for years if you keep breaking them like this

I was going to say that I never feel particularly well after mixing my toasties - there's just too many to choose from though! ........... but maybe new batteries should be the order of the day after all.
Now I know why you've organised an Ann Summers party for the Bi Fem meet! You're hoping we'll all spend enough dosh so that you get a free rabbit!!

lol.. u caught me out.. i DO need a new toy.. but (hope he not reading this.. but doubt it!).. i reckon if we spend enough to get a free gift.. we should chose something for steve to say thanks for letting us have it at his house......lol, am sure he is gonna be thrilled!
