Its calmed down here a lot, i was at work last nite and while drivinghome at 4am I virtually had to stop because the rain was that heavy i couldnt see the road, good job they put those guide rails along the edge of the road

About 2 hours ago we had THE mother of all storms :!: :!:
Thunder, lightening, hailstones and rain so heavy that drivers were stopping at the side of the road.... Within 10 minutes the roads were that flooded that the rain was up to the bottom of the doors!! :shock: :shock: :shock:
Bring back the summers of the 70's..... Oh the good ole days....

I will NEVER understand the British obsession with complaining about the weather.
I can think of a thousand reasons for wanting to live in any other country but this one, and the two things that keep me here are
1. The women are the most beautiful
2. The weather is perfect
OK, it might not be as boringly predictable as the Sahara flippin' desert, but that's part of the appeal too.
The summers are hot but you won't die of thirst.
The winters won't kill you unless you get lost while skinny-dipping
There are no tidal waves, hurricanes, earthquakes, plagues of locusts, droughts, avalanches or monsoons, and American visitors are kept to manageable numbers.
What other place on Earth can boast all that?
