Shopping - both. Sometime is easier on the net. Sometimes it is nice to go and look for things you don't need but spoil yourself with something that catches your eye (or nose - just a sucker for a lovely fragrance).
People - real ones.
dont know about it being easier to get to know someone on the net but i think it can be more revealing of what people are like deep down than speaking face to face.

I wouldn't agree with that as a blanket statement - many people adopt an alter ego as certain barriers effecting confidence are removed (whether consciously or not) - FFS there are enough who adopt an alternative gender lol
yeah polo true but i take everything with a pinch of salt on the net, and the truth always comes out sooner or later. i think a lot of people would say stuff in writing they wouldnt dare say in real life.

So is that really them then? Or is it a persona you are getting to know? Isn't what happens in real life the real person?
Easyease - basic maths equation....
women + shopping = do not go there
I agree with both of you actually, ebay is fantastic for, literally everything! Basic stuff I used to buy from a supermarket (e.g. toothpaste) is literally a third of the price for double the quantity. What's wrong with a bargain? Altough I do tend to buy from the people I have dealt with before (usually the shops) unless of course I'm after a specific item.
I do like to go out shopping, but it HAS to be "relaxing" . Good mooch around, take your time etc.... I never do the Xmas shopping thing - what's the point in the stress?
People - I've never been a "chat 'em up at the bar type", the net has opened up so many new avenues to meet people, it's a good thing. I have met (and met up with) far more people from on-line encounters, than just walking up to them in the middle of Witherspoons and saying "hello"!! But, I wouldn't consider someone a "friend" without personally meeting them first. Many online "relationships" (in whatever form) just don't "work" in a physical sense.
wow thats a good question. are we what the world see's of us or what we see ourselves as......hmmmmmm pass. lol i guess its all to do with if the person is true to themself. watch out im starting to spout shite..........
OOOPPS - my mistake
Should have read:

not at all (on this occasion) wink
I much prefer face to face, but there are more opportunities online, and the same for shopping! (makes note... cut up that credit card)

I have just had a conversation with a friend when he said he found chatting up women in real life much easier than on the net. Personaly I find it much easier to talk to chat up men on here than in real life.
He also said he prefers shopping in "Real Shops" , whereas I would rather shop on ebay or similar (no need to worry about car parking , crowds or tired feet)
Which do you prefer Real Life or Net?

Real Life for me.....much prefer chatting up women face to face....as for shopping, I use the Net and Real Life.
CC..... cool
Not sure what I think now... I just spent the last 15 minutes "talking" to on MSN Messenger. Add her and see what you think
Message for the mods..... wink
Good question - was on train tonight reading paper and there was a big section on 'lets meet up' you know the section lol. The men in there 38 -48 were all asking for blondes, slim of the average age of 25. rolleyes
Now online I can chat to men who are same age who are not looking for women of that age group in particular - I am not made to feel 'old' online but can in other walks of life evil .
So I quite like 'shopping' on line for men lol but nothing better than a munch when you can have a real chat wink .
Yes we can all put a persona up online - must say i much braver in real life than online -funny isnt it how you can become you alter ego online?????
As for shopping I love it online smile
hi!
we created the cyber world so i reckon that we have to accept their inhabitants!
feel that there are three stages oif "contact" - cyber (e-mails etc.), phone and then the real world of meeting! If everyone has been honest (let's all get real, we are never 100% honest yet to develop relationships you need a little more than 50%!! wink everything should be seamless - the ease of chat, good feelings and the rest that you enjoy in the cyber world should ease into the phone chat and then into the real world of meeting! you should be able to sense "problems" when for example there are silences when you are on the phone after great cyber sessions! yes i know there are the shy ones amongst us but that should be able to be identified!
does it work? well in my experience it certainly does - is it perfect? as one lady mentioned " every time i get close to perfection he runs away from me", nothing is infallible! really few failures (he  modestly!) - one was a lady in amsterdam - cyber chat (and the odd sex and orgasm session!) followed by phone chats (and the rest!) led to a meeting in amsterdam .............. she could go through with having another man despite her husband's approval and his lack of interest in the physical pleasures of this world!
one final thing - have generally met over 90% without the benefit of a photo! as one guy said, we prefer the "package" rather than the image of a photo!
oooooooooooops have deviated from original post! Do not like shopping on internet ---- again preference of the real world!
have a fun friday full of fulsome frolics ............ you can work out your own saturday alliteration!
