I know it's not a classic but I had a ride on a Triumph Rocket3 2300 recently and it was the best ride ever!!!! biggrin

Well ...it may not be a classic but I just googled it and it looks like a proper bike to me !! lol
It was a fab ride though with a 2300 engine, it goes like the proverbial and the pillion is in danger of getting whiplash! Think it was only the sissy bar that kept me from getting blown off the back! rolleyes

Just in case you have forgotten what a Bantam looks like
Now whilst I love bikes, old bikes really do not do it for me.
The old bikes did not handle or stop, and leaked oil like it was going out of fashion, and were unreliable.
My bike tops 175mph, handles like a race bike, and does 0-100mph in less than 5 seconds.
This is a pic of my bike and it looks a million dollars, sex on wheels I think. lol
Or My old bike.
Ya just got no soul Flower. lol

ah, now yer talking :inlove:
while i appreciate the nostalgia value of the old classics to call them real bikes in comparison to todays bikes is like saying a penny farthing is a real mountain bike in todays world most would be unrideable, and dont get me started on goldwings especially ones with a trailer buy a car ffs, ducatis i'll leave for the sunday riders who just want to pretend they can ride every sunday, modern nakeds are ok but when i'm doing 300+ miles a day up and down motorways in all weathers i want something that offers me some kind of weather protection and allows me to go errmmmm somewhere just over the speed limit without ripping my arms off, same goes for cruisers if i hit a seven mile jam on mine i barely need to slow down on a cruiser i would be ripping wing mirrors off every ten yards,oh and i freely admit i ride like a twat so no need to point that out to me
Or what about the most sexiest bike ever made? A fantastic MV Augusta.

its nice very near perfect in fact however the lower fairings are all wrong its like they did the rest of the bike then got to the lowers and thought fuck it i cant be arsed anymore i nearly bought one a couple of years ago glad i ddidnt or i would of run the risk of becoming a fair weather biker it is to nice to get wet,i'm happy enough with bikes i can twat about on and not be to bothered about throwing down the road, missing the odd service, riding through blizzards etc etc

It's a Honda VFR800. I bought it two days after passing my test. I didn't dare get it before I passed - that would be tempting fate!!
