They do a lot of surf-kiting and the buggy kind down at Watergate near Academy I think it's called.

i was having a shot at Troon beach, its about 40 mins from glasgow and about 3 miles of pure sand...
but you can do it without the buggy and do it pretty much anywhere there is a good bit of clear space
