No, I never posted "Hi, I am a newbie" when I started using the forum. This may not have gone down too well with some of the more rigid self-proclaimed protocol police ("How dare a new person not introduce themselves before joining in on our posts!") Whilst some people used my disregard of their expectations of etiquette to form judgement, I think I was shown some leniency by the 'forum only' masses, probably due to having tits.
Aside from being a renegade of decorum, the main reason for never posting the "Hi, I am new" thing was the fact I wasn't 'new' to Swinging Heaven.
Yes, I had registered on the forum in August 2004, so I could use the PM facility to make arrangements and exchange information with people from photo ads and the chatroom.
I believe my first post in the Cafe was probably sometime in November 2004, after attending the Notts munch. It was the people who said "oh! you're a chatroom person"

No, PoloLady was not my original nickname. I am not sure what my very first one was; 'Always Wet' was one of my longer standing earlier nicknames, however I decided to bin that when I kept getting asked if I was a M or F
I had been using the chatroom on a regular basis long before you had to register to use it.
