Sorry to spoil a good witch-hunt, but two things cannot be denied: 1) Portugal were the better side in the game, and therefore deserved to win, 2) In that disallowed goal incident John Terry had his hand on the keeper's shoulder to hold him down. Whether or not that was why Urs Meier disallowed the goal doesn't really matter. The only thing I would like to complain about to Urs Meier is for that silly-looking beard he seems to be trying to grow.

OK, so we lost... and yes being in the pub caught up in the excitement I was as gutted as everyone else....
But with hindsight, the ref in football can only go on what he percieves at the time... its one of the few sports that doesnt alow looking at the TV;s if there is a complaint, boxing does, as does just about every other sport... but footy still does not.
Personaly as a footy hater and total non-watcher... it seemed like an even match, but as ever england fail when it comes to penalties... wasnt it the new boy muppet last time arround that kicked his leg up that took us to them... and we blew it on the sudden death?
The time before that... the same sorta thing... perhaps we should train more... !!!!!!
And as for golden balls, nuff said!
