I've been really tempted to answer ads on the men seeking men board. Haven't had an experience with a man for many years and the only thing that's putting me off is the danger of STD's.
Does anybody know how high the risk of catching a STD from sucking a cock is? Even if you don't suck to completion, does pre-cum carry any risk.

If you do a search on here, you will find this has been discussed in detail regarding the risk of STD's from penatrative sex and oral sex. Some of it was from well informed sources.

I'm new to computers and new to this site but there is a reason why I asked the question regarding risk with oral sex in particular. When you look on the men seeking men page, there are numerous referances to safety concerning anal sex but hardly a mention of any protection used for oral sex-I just get the impression that the vast majority see anal as high risk and oral as low risk and are prepared to gamble. I've never done anal (and never would) but these days when there is so much said about increasing cases of STDs, I find it incredible that the vast majority seem willing to participate in oral sex without precaution unless it really is in fact, very low risk.

I too didn't realise the high level of threat from oral sex and find it hard to believe that most of this site don't seem to use protection when meeting strangers for the first time. Feel as if I want to do it but frightened by consequences so guess I will have to miss out. Not sure whether wearing a condom would take the edge of it!
