For those things we may have taken for granted last year.....
walks in the country
narrowboating
flowers in the garden
butterflies
summer partys summer frocks etc
warm nights in the garden till late
watching the sun go down at the coast
weekends away
just enjoying each summer day

Yep, I'm about fed up of this weather.
Looking forward to those summer smells, mown grass, the smell of hot sun on your skin...instead of that rank smell of damp coats drying out.

Ahhh dont! I want summer now!!! Not a huge fan of the winter months! hate going to work in the dark and coming home in it, hate the way we sort of disapear for the dark days.
I think each season has it's own beauty.
I looked out of the window this morning at the fresh snow that fell last night and seeing everything covered in white is quite something. I love walking in it and the silence is wonderfully creepy.
Even the winter wind and rain is lovely to listen to when I'm tucked up in bed and I can hear it hitting the tree in my garden.
My favourite season is Spring when the days are starting to get warmer and longer and everything is waking up from the winter biggrin

Of course you are right, winter does have its attractions and I would hate to live in a country that only had one season. Having said that I wish the UK's seasons were more defined. Sometimes the seasons here are warm and wet = summer and cold and wet = winter it never used to be this way or is my memory of childhood wearing rose tinted glasses smile
