You are right but that is really their problem long term but it is very hurtful to the recipient in the short-term. Why should the recipient have to put up with that?

I must admit I can't stand rudeness or ignorance. OK ! fine if they weren't up for a meet cos they "don't do hotels" but there's no need to go off the deep end and be abusive.
