we are both new to swinging, and have been stunned by the amount of single bi guys in the chat room who do un safe sex ???? is this the norm on the swinging scene that people have unsafe sex????

we've never been asked to do non-safe sex.. and we always carry our own condoms as well and would insist on them being worn... If they won't wear one they won't get to play with us, its a simple as that!! biggrin

Seriously, I think it the norm that swingers of all persuasions DO practice safer sex..... that is just my experience.... can't speak for anyone else.

I ALWAYS insist on safe sex, IMO if they don't want to use a condom they are a health risk to everyone and should be avoided. Of course it is different in solid relationships, even between swinging couples who get together regularly but then it is a matter of personal choice for them.

Anyone asking for sex without a condom would be given short shrift by Tracy-Jayne, let alone by me.
We carry our own condoms too, partly due to the fact Tracy-Jane has a latex sensitivity so has to use non latex condoms, but also due to the fact we are amazed at the amount of people who turn up with none mad

We always carry condoms with us just in case the other guy does,nt bring any , but we don,t usually need to use our own, the guy,s we,ve met so far have been sensible lol

Well I am a social swinger, no permission to 'play' and even I carry condoms. No plans to use them but really anyone in a swinging scene without them must be mad!
Excluding those aforementioned tight knit groups / couples and I am sure even they outside that group would insist on safe play

Talking about Safe Sex - went to Tesco's this morning and they got a speical offer on condoms - buy a pack of 12 and get one free - So I cleared the shelf and only paid for half the shelf if you know what I mean! :twisted:
Probably be sold out by tonight!
See you all in a week when I get back from my hols - we will have a good time cause got loads and loads of condoms!

Don't forget the Family Planning Association , which is a charity that will give you condoms for free if you can't afford them.

i always carry a (non) family pack of 12 with me<< ex cub scout...always prepared...i cant belive that people can be so irrisponsible these days...we have not irradicated std's yet, and the threat of aids is still out there, condoms are not just to stop the spread of kids

I've tried getting into the chatroom but just can't get it to work on this computer.... sad

That aside, I'm pretty surprised that anyone wouldn't practice safe sex on the swinging scene.

This is a bit of a hijack, but yeah, I've looked there. I can connect, and see chat and say things. The problem is more that many minutes will go past of seemingly no traffic, then it will all come in in one big chunk, then work fine for a bit, then pause for more minutes, etc... This is using mIRC.
I think it's something to do with my wireless network because I have incoming MSN messages go missing when I'm on the wireless.

That does sound like it's a wi-fi problem at your end then - maybe you could try their tech suppot for help?
If you want a non-swinging example of the same problem, try the streaming , which will probably be affected in the same way.

Serious condom question: why the hell do they make these things so difficult to get into? Does anyone else find that after you've spent five minutes battling to tear the foil, you finally get the blessed latex in your fingers, only to find that your passion has waned in the interim?
