i usually take the submissive role but every once in a blue moon i get all dom dek loves it have to be in the right frame of mind tho for it to work good

I'd like to be a tad more submissive but if i mention that to anyone, they seem to assume I'd go for the whole spanking, humiliate the bitch thing when really I just want a man to be a man and take charge for once!

Does it have something to do with our roles in 'real' life? I have a fairly responsible job and am in charge of 8 people (men usually) at a time.
In play I love to be submissive - the whole rope, crop, handcuffs and blindfold thing on occasion. Having all the decisions taken away from me (apart from the safe word of course) is incredibly freeing and almost like taking a holiday from myself.

Very good point and something I've thought about too. Most of the single guys are I meet are professionals and/or in managerial type careers so have to be pretty dom workwise and then they turn up at my house wanting me to be the boss so they can play sub. confused

All fine and well 'cos I'm used to being demanding and fiesty but I'd really really like someone to take charge of me for once - and no, I don't want ropes, handcuffs or anything other than the odd spanky.

Well.. Me, as a man i'm naturally dominating but never in a nasty way... I know what I like and like to think I can read a situation well enough to guage when enough is enough etc... being too dominant could be seen as arrogant i think. Though I could be given the chance lol..
