I attended one last year(see my reply on MikeNorth's Friends Reunited thread). The whole thing was organised via email and I accidently and unknowingly did a 'reply all' whilst in the process of telling one of my old school pals that I was bi.. needless to say that it made for some interesting looks when I arrived - made for a fun night though and, based on how the eveing went 90% of people couldn't give a damn..

I didn't exactly enjoy my time at school, and vowed not to have anything to do with either the place or the people once I'd left.
My brother however (who went to the same school) decided last year to arrange a re-union for his class. (the class of '82).
It was an all boys school and so from the 30 boys from that class.
1 had died,
3 were detained at her majesties pleasure
5 were working in the far corners of the globe.
and......... one wanted to know the dress code as he was no longer Dave, he was post-op and now called Davina.
Glad I didn't bother going

The night its self was a total failure with everybody who did attend just trying to out talk each other into how successful they had been.
I went to one a few years ago and wished i hadnt! Depressing affair, they all looked so old!! But worse than that, all those that turned up had just lost their sparkle!!Settle, borring and not even happy!! addmitedly the ones hwo had gone on to college and uni didnt really turn up just sent lame appologies, with i had done the same!!
Proved to me that you cant go back!!
