Rikki Fulton (Rev I. M Jolly and the motorcycle cop) fell foul to Alzheimers and died this year. In a previous life he was one part of Francie and Josie, a duo who became a legend in Scotland long before the Big Yin was invented.

He was a bloody brilliant straight man, and the piss take of the chef always got me. I know all the other guys on it were well know aka Rab nesbitt and his cronies, but i did miss the banter. Pity it was not screened down this side of the border, it would have travelled the way quite well. Quality stuff... :cry:

I actually met the big yin many years ago in Glesga! Down to earth and dead easy to get on with...no stardom shit either. I have a few old audio tapes of his from the 70's and one with him in the local bars doing a great rip off of his time in fights and when he learned the music sie of his act.
