Quite a few years ago now I was contacted through 'friends reunited' by a boyfriend that although we'd gone so far we hadn't 'done the deed'. We broke up when we both went off to university in different directions and that was that.
So emails exchanged, phone calls etc. and so we met and finished what we'd started, got it out of the system well and truly, although just the one session (and that was enough), and moved on.
If I hadn't, I think I'd have always wondered what it would be like with him.
Does anyone else have memories unfinished? First loves etc? Or, like me, have they now been sorted?
There was a girl I knew in Art College who was a staunch feminist, but we got on really well. Most of the other guys hated the fact I was the only one she allowed to hug and cuddle up to her.
Several years later we met up again and I'd invited her back to my flat for coffee. No really!
We started talking about old times and how people thought there was something going on between us, when there wasn't. Within half an hour we were 'doing the deed'.
Sadly she was meeting her boyfriend later, in the pub, and couldn't stay, but it was something we both needed to get out of our systems.

I'm still scratching mine... let me explain!!!
I knew this wonderful man and we were friendly just before my late hubby passed. He was very good for me after, and was a good friend. We did get close, but for me it was the wrong time, and I felt bad about it for years. We had both been winding each other up during that time, but I couldn't go further.
We recently bumped into each other again, and he came round for a coffee, and a chat. A few chats later things happened... three years in the waiting... and wow was it worth it.
I am happy to say that this person is still in my life, and I am so glad I didn't go to the library that day...
You will have a hefty fine on that book then....... rolleyes
Hadn't thought of that...
