Secret Santa and Belly Button

Good Morning all! How is everyone today?
You know, last night when I was lying in bed I was thinking about christmas and santa claus(I dont belive in him) and I thought, wouldnt it be nice if we could do some sort of Secret Santa thing in the SH towers?
Obviously we wouldnt be able to actually give gifts unless we posted them,lol. But we could maybe do something else like, say I wanted to give Staffy a kiss on the cheek, I could pm him telling him that his pressie is a kiss on the cheek. I'd obviously need to come in as a guest so he wouldnt know who it was from and so have to guess it.
I think itd be fun to watch everyone trying to guess who sent the pm.

Oh well, it was a thought.
I know my head is where it shouldnt be this morning.
I was actually gonn ask somebody advice about my belly button (I have it peirced and its kiling me) but then I remembered about the secret santa and changed my mind about what to write. rolleyes

I think its a great idea except that some people may get more anonymous PMs than they would like...I get far too many one-liner PMs from faceless, characterless, thoughtless chancers as it is.....
personally I think we should have a public christmas pressie thread. Although it might cause its own problems....
I wait to hear what the others say...oh - and seeing as you misnamed your thread i will hijack it for just a second and congratulate myself as this is my 100th post!!!

At a place I used to work they set up a special mail account at valentines so people could send annonymous valentines messages to other staff members.

It is agony and Ive had mines done for about 5 months now too. It has been ok since i got rid of an infection last monght but it is killing me again. sad

I was recommended Savlon open wound wash, it's a spray stuff and it worked wonders on mine. It can take a very long time to heal properly. If it keeps getting caught on things like your belt buckle or something try changing it for a ring, my bar used to twist round and cause me agony but now I have a ring it is much more comfortable.

Yeah I have savlon, and I also have saline solution to clean the belly bar but it doesnt seem to be doing much for it. My uncle told me to put TCP on it but I think i will give that a miss. I'll just keep using the savlon and ill try some salty water on it. It shuold heal.
My big brothers gf has had to take hers out cause the bar was working its way out if her skin so she is left with a big scar on her belly button now.

New-ish to the forum but just thought I'd say hello ! wave

lil_miz, I'd probably advice keeping a close eye on your belly button. If it's red, painful and got yellowish stuff coming out , u'd need to see a doc. Me good friend's had similar problems ... in the end needed to see doc as belly button was so swollen and couldn't take stud out. Needed some industrial strength cutlery !

Thanks for the advice. I'm more wirred about getting Septicemia(if thats the correct spelling) cause I was told if it isnt caught in time then its a case of waiting for yuo to die :shock: . I think it is just from when I caught it on my zip yesterday but its still very sore. Its not got anything coming out of it yet but I will see a doc as soon as if it does.

Right- to recap - this isn't a thread about belly buttons thats called "Belly Button."
However Jaky and MQ HAVE written about their belly lil_miz who started the thread called "Belly Button" has now written about her belly button as well as about anon Santa kisses in PMs and her 700th post.
But SunBunny has written against anon Santa kisses in PMs and her 100th post.
Its getting confusing. rolleyes

But I like it! wink

Can I just say I must congratulate SunBunny especially - with masterful economy she has said more in 100 posts than many could in a 1000!

I was originally gonna make this thread about my belly button for advice, so i put the subject in but as I was writing it I remebered about my idea of a secret santa so I scrubbed what id wrote and started over. I submitted the post then remebered that I hadnt changed the Subject...
Than someone gave me advice on my belly button, then some one else did and so on. :shock: loon

Hi all
The thing about septicaemia is that it's the end process of an infection that has not been controlled and as a result the infection overwhelms the body's capability to fight it. My advice about the redness etc was that those are the signs of an infection. Most of these tend to settle down on its own but if uve got the yellowish gunk coming out or if u start getting a temperature and feel hot , go see ur doc. u may need antibiotics.

First of all WELL DONE, on your 700th post :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :cheers: secondly ...for your belly button just keep bathing it in warm salt water, don,t be tempted to spray with an antiseptic i was told it causes clogging and can make things worse
