Hello all. Are there any cat lovers/experts here?
We are settling in two cats we adopted from a local shelter. Does anyone have any tips for helping them settle in?
We kept them in one room on the first day, but they seemed quite confident so last night we let them have the run of the house. They seemed to be doing very well but now the male seems to have become quite shy and has hidden away. He looks a bit depressed. He slept on our bed last night, and was happy to eat his breakfast, so it might be that we are just worrying too much. It must be a very stressful time for them both though.
We will be keeping them indoors for the first month, but does anyone have any advice about helping them to settle? How did your cats settle in if you adopted cats?
