Wow - deep.
To me, the term sexual predator is a negative. It describes someone who hungts prey and that prey is sexually used regardless of their own situation, preferences etc. It is one step down from . And the line between the two can blur to nothing when the predator is a so 'persuasive' that the prey succumbs against their will/better judgment. There are people who are so manipulative they will make escape almosgt impossible.
If someone called me a sexual predator I would be hurt and insulted.
But that is just my interpretation. Maybe the person who said it to you thought it was more mild or jokey than that.
I've been called the same, but not in an accusatory way! The gist was that it was ok for me to do it, as a woman, but if he had done it he would have been seen as unacceptably predatory and pushy etc ...
Surely there is a little predatory nature in a lot,if not all, of us and so to hunt down a victim in a mild form, thrill of the chase etc must be OK surely. If we didn't do some sort of searching out/hunting chasing then we'd of been extinct by now.
However I think that the the word sexual predator, and not wrongly, is quite often used, especially in the media, to portray, usually, men who use and take advantage of anothers weaknesses and vulnerabilities to do things which are wrong and what would be against the persons wishes whether lawfully or morally.
I think to use wit cunning and guile to change someones attitude or opinion over time is OK to be honest, and to get someone to bed/shag like this is fine, again as long as its lawful.
Unless the rest of the chat room conversation at the time was negative then I think you could perceive it more as a compliment than an insult. You being a predator going out sniffing out your victims to have your wicked way with them sounds great given that the victim is going toknow and enjoy what ensues. All down to the context of the rest opf the conversation I think Kaz.
Good topic
I think it includes a variety of types.
the hunter who goes out and finds the prey and consumes it,
the scavenger who picks up the left overs,
the agent, who finds prey for predators,
the parasite, who lives off the prey but doesn't consume it
All feed off people in some way or other
I jokingly call someone on here something similar- although "predator" simply isn't a strong enough word, so I call her a "sexual veloceraptor" :giggle:
Sexual Predator, does conger up a male
But when I imagine a female sexual predator, I find the thought quite a turn on.
Oh to fall prey to such a monster
I don't much care how predatory Kaz seems to other people, I'd still love to meet her and share a bottle.
Such phrases lose their other world meaning in the world of swinging. Out there it means you are a dangerous sexually motivated human being with dubious morals, in here it means you get more action than I do.
Dont forget your record collections either of you!
