Yep, it works a treat. Hey, a new slogan "Veet's a treat"
Maybe for men but 'Veet' on the 'female intimate places' stings like hell
Not according to one of my Ex's. It's all down to timing! Just get that right and there are no nasty side-effects. And from my own perspective I'd say the same... leave it too long and you'll regret it!
I do have very sensitive skin...I've tried all sorts of timings and creams and always the same problem.....think I'm sticking to the Seiko shaver wink
The thought of physically shaving fills me with fear... what if the phone rings and as you jump, you slip....?
No problem at all with the Seiko Electric Shaver
Mmm, I've gone the electric and Gillette route and I'd have to say I'd prefer to avoid them both if at all possible! Maybe I'm just more jumpy than most but the thought of pitching up in A&E and having explain profuse bleeding from my nether regions isn't at all appealing
There is no way whatsoever you could cut yourself with the Seiko biggrin
OK, but do you work for them?
Pmsl, not at all.....just tried everything and it's worked the best
That's a fantasticaly reasonable reason. For me, cream is good and feels great afterwards.
And this must be one of the longest Quote of Quote of... etc ever!
it's pretty though, if you stare at it long enough you fall in.

LMAo believe it or not there is a thread somewhere where we tried to see how long we could make it go on for and I think 28 (???) quotes is the max .....
Cx
28... really?
we have a while to go then.......
lots of weather lately, anyone notice?
H.x
yeah, a bit so-so and kinda cool for the time of year. what d'ya think?
Been lovely here today, though.
H.x
Mmmm, I s'ppose so, but could be better. Perhaps next week'll be better. Anyone know the snooker scores today?
No, sorry. Try the BBC site, their sports page is good
H.x
Really? I've never tried that.
Very handy if you can't watch the footie, too. Live updates.
H.x
Well, not so much into football, but love to see the pink sink into the pocket. And, the Beeb is showing that nowadays, I believe?
Yes I believe they are. I used to have a deaf cat that loved watching snooker, it used to sit on top of the set and pounce at the screen if a ball went down. We called her pardon, but it got changed to sub(tittles) 'cos she used to watch so much telly.
H.x
H.x
I see. But why did you all her Pardon if she couldn't hear you?
Because we thought 'useless waste of space' was a touch heartless an a bit of a mouth full.
H.x
No idea about deaf cats......but, if we are talking BBC , isn't Dr Who great....just watched tonight's episode and it just gets better (and David Tennant, I'd shag that  )
Haven't seen ant new Dr Who, what else's he been in?
He was 'Casanova' in the series that the BBC put out last year, he was also in a really great series, that got little exposure, called 'Blackpool' that was shown a year or so ago on the BBC.
No, and no. Oh well will just have to start watching more telly.
(how we doing?)
H.x
David Tennant looks like this

Well, it is a small pic (but thanks for going to the trouble) but I can't say he's doing much for me. How on earth am I supposed to know if I like someone from a photo?
H.x
You aren't but if I'd posted a bigger pic it might have spoiled the pattern  lol
Good thinking. Tom Baker will always be Dr Who for me anyway.
H.x
Know what you mean about Tom Baker, he was unique, but this new series (and the one that was on last year with Christopher Ecclestone) is just so well written, it's something quite different :D
are the special effects still as bad?
H.x
No, special effects are very good now..the werewolf changing scene last week was one of the best I've seen in ages (and I am very fond of werewolves  )
hard to house train though,
H.x
As my favourite writer, the late, lamented, Angela Carter once wrote 'the worst wolves are those that are hairy on the inside'
Ou, I like that! I've met a few of them.

The quote is from her book of short stories, 'The Bloody Chamber', one of which was made into the film 'The Company of Wolves' (which just happens to be one of my favourite films too :D )

Yes, I know that feeling :D When I completed my degree (in English Literature, surprise, surprise) some people said I would never want to read a novel again. I am glad to say that this has not been the case and read as much now as ever :D
I was quite fortunate in that I didn't have to read novels, but if I never see another copy of freud or foucault again I'll be happy.

As I was also studying education (I did a specialising in English Lit) I too had to read a lot of theory and a lot of rubbish most of it was too wink
Have we decided to stop the pattern?
