Hi ladies and maybe guys,
I have yet to find an ideal way of shaving you know where!
I have bought ladies razors which leave me stubbly and I often cut myself, and waxing and creams are not recommended for down there.
I wondered about an electric shaver but these can be expensive so I would appreciate anyone letting me know what they have found to be best.
Thanks
Hi maggie.......for myself I slather my 'mary jane' lol in ordinary depilation cream (not even Immac....just the cheapest I can find)
Havent had any probs so far....but I believe you can get sensitive stuff for your delicate bikini areas. I think its a case of looking round.
Although I do believe a cut throat straight razor gives an excellent shave too.....

Ah someone who likes to live dangerously! lol  But, your quite right...its probably a good shave
Scandal, yep it has been done many, many times..but hey someone might have somethng new to add! smile
Personally I love using Gillette for women..Wild Berry yummy smell!! Doesnt say on the tin not to use it in sensitive areas...
Best recommendation I can make is get someone to do it for you   A man is better at shaving than a woman I reckon!! wink

Hello biggrin
I'd just like to apologise in advance for the interminable bores who will be along to tell you to do a search wink
They are such predictable people I wish they were racehorses because we could all win thousands from their consistent form lol

Perhaps in future, enquirers can just be referred to this post instead - i.e. told to do a search under "interminable bores".
Thanks Scandal!

Or even better, with Scandal being so helpful these days, perhaps he could answer the question.
As for your question maggiejames, as Scandal suggested, there are numerous posts on this very topic and you may get some ideas by having a search through them.
Personally (female perspective) I use hair removal cream which doesnt leave any stubble but you do have be careful on the sensitive skin, time it very carefully and it is always worth doing a skin test first.
total agree with anais, I shave my bits, I can get to easly every day, but if its the more delicate work then John does it.
and he is very good
yes guys like to shave too clippers however very dangerous need to be in right hands or blood transfusion required but very nice cut no pun intended ha ha

I do the hair removal cream thing to and it works fine on me
I think I have the thickest hairs on the planet- they never budge with hair removal creme!
I shave every time i have a shower (which is normally at least twice a day) and I always use baby oil and one of dens mac 2000 or whatever number they're up to now- the one with the 4 blades that vibrates etc etc.
I get shouted at whenever he goes to shave his face (which isn't as often as i shave my lady garden!
I shave everything off, and never a problem, no rash, no spots, no ingrown hairs and shaving all the time isn't a bother at all!
m xx
PS, still, like everyone has said- having someone else do it is much more enjoyable!!!
Hi and thanks for your suggestions.
Cream seems to be the most popular but I did try shop brand and came out in a rash, ouch!
I have tried to pursuade James to do it but he says no way is he being responsible for nicking me down there.
Think I will try the baby oil idea and maybe a different cream.
I would happily invest in an electric shaver but I just wondered if anyone had one they could recommend.
Thanks again peeps.
Maggie
Sorry, we all went on about Shaving with razors..
I used to use one many moons ago and found them to be ok until a house guest (male) shaved his tache off with it rolleyes  Not used one since!
my question that the wife was wondering is how do you shave roun the bumhole area, she can manage the other bits but can never do the other,

Hmm, am I gonna get really embarrased saying this?!
I don't seem to have a problem shaving everything off, i think my trick is to either get your leg propped up fairly high, or sit down in the bath/shower, and tilt your hips a bit!
Maybe I can do it ok becuase i'm a gymnast and fairly flexible?!?! lol

But can you see what you are doing in the "underneath" bits? That's what's always put me off shaving confused

mirrors!
well... one mirror, on one of those extending criss-cross thingies... and look backwards twixt your own legs.... sorted!
lp
I will sometimes use a mirror to check i've not missed a bit, but so far haven't ever managed to cut myself in that area until the other day, and that was a 'slipping' incident!
I find it quite easy to shave the 'difficult parts' so long as you stretch the skin a bit, its not as dangerous as you think!!
Cellotape or chewing gum? innocent
Never tried either ......... but would love to know if they work! :giggle:

You want me to try those the next time I do yours?
I thought you were quite happy with the delicate touch, the shaving gel for sensitive skin and the razor?
Steve biggrin
I have to say the best razor i have tried is the Gillette Fusion, they are quite expensive and the blades are a bit pricey too but since i started using mine i have never got a rash or anything and i just use shower gel to shave with, they really do leave you soft and smooth gotta be worth a go

I think that's the one i pinch from den- they are expensive, about a tenner for a pack of 4 replacement blades i'm sure.... but they are good!

But in doing that there would be no opportunity to bitch and snipe at the establishment ;-)

Thanks Mallock!
I just won £40, keep it up! lol

Always thought you were cheap rolleyes
Trimming/shaving
For the general pubic area I use a beard trimmer - on setting '2' (my current one is a small battery operated 'Wahl'). Applied gently, almost no pressure, just letting the safety blades do their work. With careful application this can also be used to trim between the inside of the leg and testicles.
I'm sure women would get along just fine with this to trim the area of the pubic mound and surface areas between the inside of their leg and pussy.
The beard trimmer, though is totally inappropriate for taking hair from the testicles (I go for the totally bald feel here), as it would need to be used unguarded and the sac would be nicked all over.
So for this area, (having tried, and not been satisfied with the results of, various hair removal creams), I wet shave with a safety razor. Using plenty of applications of lathered moisturising soap (not shaving cream). Again it has to be the 'apply no pressure' approach allowing the blades to glide over the area.
I've not tried waxing yet, but am ever hopeful lol
All the above is from the perspective of taking care of my own grooming needs (wants). The way to take the strain out of that is to allow someone else to do it! It's just, scary at first, but loads and loads of fun!
