We are all off on a swinging cruise confused

:? :? :? But being unable to stear due to an unusal swaying motion the Captain runs into rocks and holes the boat there is an island within swimming distance but you only have time to save one essential item from your cabin before the boat sinks what would you grab to take with you?
I've managed to save my hair products you've gotta look your best for any natives you may encounter lol
