Does anyone no why Land Rover chose to put a series 3 clutch slave cylinder in such a place you have take half the landy apart to change it?

What I have managed to find out is…
When Land Rover brought out the Series III in place of the IIA the most significant change was the replacement of the gearbox with a completely new gearbox that incorporated synchromesh on all forward gears. The ratios were also revised, with lower Reverse and 1st gears. The Low Range ratio was also reduced. Clutch design was also modified to include a diaphragm spring, resulting in smoother and quieter gear changes.
I can only surmise that the newer arrangement, although a pain in the arse, was necessary to allow the different design.

Easy!
Joan Bakwell because she 'bakes well' where as Stephen can only do 'fried' food.

Asuming you are using windows on a PC...
Click on 'Start'
Then 'Settings'
Then 'Control Panel'
Then 'Sounds'
A 'Sounds Properties' window will appear, on the drop down menu select 'No Sounds' then click on 'Apply' on the bottom right hand corner.
Should work.
Thank you, but for some reason it didn't confused :? :? :?
It kept on making silly sounds over the God who is BOB mad

The answer would be Hugh Laurie.
The Cars had 5 members, therefore you wouldn't be alble to legally accept a lift from them. Unless they were in a limo etc.

It maybe that you are just getting feedback from another device on your system. For some reason I get a buzzing "comuptery" type noise if 3d surround is depth is not muted even though I don't use it. To figure out this was the problem I :
played the music.
Opened the advanced volume control by double clicking on the volume control in the taskbar.
Then I went through each one and muted them individually until the buzzing stopped. Process of elimination will tell what is causing the problem.

Why do Sony spend so much money on adverts for their Bravia tellys using colour as the big draw to buy one??? I can see how nice and pretty and eyecatching the colours are on my existing one so which smart arsed marketing bloke decided to show me just how much I don't need a Bravia telly to get the ful advert experience eh!!!
Is it just me that thinks like this ( i.e. like the lovechild of a gangbang between Quincy, Columbo, Angela Lansbury and the entire crew of Watchdog )????

It is SO true! A bit like when I used to rent a video and it told me to rent a DVD instead and 'showed' me how much better the picture was on a DVD - even though it was demonstrating it through the media of VHS!

It is a little known fact that this was a common question during the second world war. it was used by both the Germans and the English to trap spies. If an English spy answered "Ich mochte eine demi litre auf Best bitte" the would be immediately exposed as not being German. Conversersely if a German spy replied "I say old chap, I am not keen on a half measure of luke warm beer but would instead prefer a plate of fine continental sausages" they would be exposed.
Should the last word in my signature be "gargle" or "google"
Main dealers make most of there profit from after sale serviceing so the longer it take the more money the dealer makes which the car companys know cause other wise they woundnt have enought dealers as there are mostly franchises

Is a badgers arse really rough? How was this researched? blink
Anyone know of a decent value for money golf club in the south manchester area as after months of pleading PK has finally let me move my clubs in (well actually I snuck em in when she was out lol) so far all the clubs I have seen round here have the likes of Jag's, Bugatti's and the odd Ferrari parked in the car parks so I guess their green fee's are way out of my range
Sooooo my location is on my profile and if anyone knows of a decent course with non extortionate day rates could you drop me a PM please biggrin
