Thing is I've broken most of the plates, half of the glasses, burned out the vacuum cleaner (er, well it DID suck well), shrunk the washing that I hadn't already re-coloured, knocked over a plant pot, scorched the ironing, etc.,

Ack! Don't mention housework!!
I've got a day's worth of hoovering, tidying and washing up to do in preparation for the house full of guests arriving Sunday for our wedding. I've even washed the bedding (should any of our esteemed guests like to join us on the wedding night)! ;)
Instead, however, I sit here reading and typing. Eh, what'cha gonna do?

As I lie here, typing, Reese is vacuuming and I believe in a mo he's even gonna wash the tray that Peters dishes sit on.
I am lying here in my squalor, his side of ther room is pristine and mine is the usual jumble of clothes, fag ash and disguarded snail mail.
If I try really hard I might get him to stop bloody cleaning. Then again... someone's gotta do it and my daughter's away.
