Should SwingingHeaven adopt the eBay approach?
I'm sure I am not the only one who has experienced people on SwingingHeaven who pretend they are up for a meet but then make some pathetic excuse at the eleventh hour, usually something about a family crisis, regardless of the lengths other people have gone to to change their schedules etc.
The problem is that these pretenders are probably doing this all the time and are helping to further spread the bad image of swinging and contact sites (of which SwingingHeaven is the best).
So what's the solution?
Perhaps a system like they use on eBay, whereby members are marked and given either positive or negative feedback. That way it would be easy to see who is genuine and who is talking nonsense.
If a couple/lady/guy consistently made arrangements and then let the other people down, it would make it a lot easier to sort out the pretenders from the genuine people by simply looking at their rankings.
Thoughts?
you`re new round here arent you!!
this is a REAAALLY bad idea
No I'm not new around here. Have been a member for at least a year (probably quite a bit longer) and have met people successfully. I had my first swinging experience at least 10 years ago.
However, this is the first time I have used the forum function on the site. Apologies if this is a much used topic of debate.
I write in frustration after having booked a day off work for a meet tomorrow, only to be given the old classic line. It hasn't happened to me before to be honest, which is why it has annoyed me now.
Anyhow, thanks for the sensible answer poshkate, and thanks for the humourous answer anais. As for hungrypussy69, I suspect you are newer to this than I am. ;-)
Thanks Mallock2006. I would never have found that via the thread headline of 'Verification'.
As I said above, while I've been on SH for quite some time I have never bothered with the messageboard before. I'd rather just post my point than spend ages sifting though archives. Lazy I know.
