Yes, I'm liking it but having to be careful exactly what I say about some of the 'straight' blokes on here or everyone will know they like cock.. or at least mine, or vice-versa I guess ;-)

Interesting one, dunno if aware.
1) User (Friend) enables Shrep on day 1, and it populates your 'Leave Rep'
2) User then disables Shrep, for what ever reason of their own When you try to do a 'Leave Rep'(Vouch), you get the error message that this user not enabled
3) To clear from your 'Leave Rep' screen, do a remove
4) User changes mind / understands more, now re-enablesShrep
5) Suspect because of the earlier 'remove', this friend does not get re-populated to your 'Leave Rep'screen/tab
Therefore you are unable to undertake a Vouch for this friend, though other options of Meeting Rep and Site Rep should work ok, i.e. you should be able to post feedback based on their respective Meet and Site criteria.

We only add people to our 'Friends' list that we have physically met face-2-face.
People that we are 'interested' in or are interested in us go into our favourites list.
That way we only Vouch for people that we have met. We don't get 'vouch' requests from people who have been added 'just because we accepted a friends invite' this means the vouches we do give and receive are both accurate and genuine.
Although, I am having difficulty in then understanding the reasoning/point behind SiteRep's, this just seems to be an open invite for people to send speculative mails, hope to get a reply (see also the responding to mails thread) from us only to then find a SiteRep request in the SHrep inbox which (we then delete....)is asking for feedback on someone we've just said 'no thanks' to. If we are going to have a SiteRep then at least have it track something other than how many mails can I get a response to.. SiteRep should go to the members who add the 'value' here - starting forum threads / hosting chatrooms / reporting bugs etc..
Do we have SHrep 'on' - yes we want to give genuine people (single males/females & couples) good feedback and show others that they can have confidence in these members. We also want people who look at our profile to see that we are also 'genuine' and have confidence in contacting us.
Do we use it as a 'definative' way of selecting people to met - NO, we have other criteria which are more important to us, we use it purely as an additional item of information on that person.
We're going camping at the weekend :bounce: and there are about 80 people off this site going. I've been talking to the organiser about creating a meet for a shep but we're unsure how to do it.
Do we all have to create a meet for everyone going or can just one person create the meet and then everyone can do a meet rep about everyone else after the weekend?
Can anyone advise please??
As I understand it the vouch part is just for you to vouch for your friends on the site to let others know that their profile is genuine.
The user guide regarding meet reps states:
Meet Rep
This part of the reputation system is based purely around face-to-face meetings and absolutely nothing else. Essentially, it is used when two parties both agree to a meeting on a given date. When they have both agreed the details of the meeting either party can select to open the feature, but both parties need to agree to the details for the arranged meeting for the system to activate. The system can also be set to mail you meeting reminders, as well as allow for moving dates and times or canceling a meeting in advance.
Benefits of the Meet Rep system are:
It is a consensual system that is used only by two members mutually using the Shrep system. It has a built in diary and planner and is a great way to manage your SH social calendar with other members.
The system allows for complete flexibility around dates and times providing both parties have agreed to the changes.
It ensures that random members cannot have any affect on your Meet Rep in either a positive or negative manner meaning this feature is far more effective than any others used elsewhere.
It will encourage improved communication and discourage members from simply not turning up to a meeting without explanation or notice.
As this is the only part of SHrep dedicated to face to face meetings I would say it is the only one to use for socials. We are supposed to be building a reputation for people using SHrep, and the meet rep is about meeting people face to face ... not a verification for how good someone is in the sack as they do on other sites!!
As for the 80 people attending this social, I mean 80 people in total, not 80 usernames. I would only do a meet rep for the ones I got to know over the weekend. I am not into building up peoples egos, I will not lie about anyone or vouch for anyone I do not know and would never expect anyone to do that for me!
