For all those suffering with cold, Ive had it 3 weeks now. Sore throat, runny nose, headache and a bitch of a cough. Just when you think itd clearing up, its back with a vengenance!
Oh and by the way, if your looking for sympathy, you wont get it here, I tried! lol

Think I 've got what Helnheavens got ...alas theres no connection tho sad

Manflu over xmas has left me with a bitch of a cough that gets much worse at night.....will alchohol help?

I know I shouldn't come in after a three week break and moan lol

but my oh my, have I been ill all over the holiday's. Chest infection, tonsillitis(sp) A really bad cold ( yes a really :lol: bad one)and just generally feeling shattered.
Although I think im on the mend at last and am looking to make up for all that lost time wink

I'm feeling very sorry for myself. It started with a nasty cold before Christmas and has now settled in my sinus, my face is so sore I can't touch it, my teeth hurt, my neck aches, I can't hear, I can't lie down and haven't slept properly for days.
Any remedies greatfully received. Could use a hug or two too sad

H-x, I get the occassional (quite painfull) sinusitus *attacks*, mainly across the forhead... found one decongestant years ago that did the trick and have tried other, supposedly more advanced versions since. Only the initial, most basic one works.
It's sudofed, decongestant tablets.
None of the 'cold & flu' business... nothing that promises miracles... the straight forward decongestant.
I think the tablets are red.. small.
If you can get to them, give them a try.
Clears my sinus pressure with quite a dramatic *squeak* as the pressure is realeased through my nose and the infection subsides.

Hug's on it's way :therethere: We can be poorly together hun :( I agree with LP ( now there's a first! :shock: ) get some Sudofed, it's the only thing that'll work really. These cold and flu 'remedies' do nothing, they're just nice flavoured paracetemol. Save yourself the money and just buy normal cheap meds, drink plenty of fluids and stay warm.

had womb lining samples taken last week ( hurt sooooooooo bad :censored: ) and its triggered the worst bitch week for a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong time, it's made me feel all fuzzy headed and down. Can someone administer a prescription snuggle please? :cry:

My current regime consists of the religious taking of sudafed (how long should you take these for? been on the since 22nd December)Ibuprofen, echinacea, vitamin c, hourly menthol steam inhilation and airwaves chewing gum (I can now no longer taste anything).
But it could be worse, I could have man flu, I've heard that's nasty.

You shouldn't be taking Sudafed for that long. Go to the doctor. At the very least, it'll be cheaper for a course of antibiotics than buying Sudafed all the time. Aren't prescriptions free in Wales?

As I just said to Hx...this sounds like infection too confused

but I'm not qualified, just a little life experience wink
