Hi all
We recieved a warning at work about a new gang initiation occuring in Nottinghamshire.
When driving down a road at night and the on-coming vehicle has the lights off, be careful about warning them by flashing your lights.
The new initiation is to drive with no lights on and the first car to flash you, you turn around and chase them. When you catch them up you shoot into the car and drive off.
How true this is, is open to debate. We are not sure even in our office but it came from a reliable authority. We have decided if it looks like a little old man we will flash but if it is somebody in a hoody we put our foot down.
Better safe than sorry.

Yep,
That one is rife down this way too. There was a bloody fax circulated every 5 minutes or so. Saing that, bet you think twice!
Dear All,
To the best of my knowledge, this "warning" is getting out of hand - it originated as a sick spoof e-mail in the US several years ago and has recently re-appeared in the UK.
For those of you who wish to have more accurate details, I believe that there are specific public comments about this subject on the official websites of both the Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Serviceas the first cases of the recent outbreak of this hoax specifically mentioned these organisations by name.
More recent postings and e-mails on this subject are simply copy-cat variations that have changed the location details given in the warning.
I hope this helps clarify the matter.
Cheers,
G.
