Erm... don't really know where to start.
I do a fairly good chickpea, mushroom and spinach curry, which tends to be what I fall back on when entertaining veggies. Other than that I've got a good recipe for beef stew with pureed chestnuts and half a bottle or so of decent red wine, and i'm told my take on cottage pie is quite impressive, albeit very filling.
i cook quite a lot and enjoy trying out new ingredients and ideas. Sometimes it works out well, other times it doesn't, but it's not often I make something completely inedible.
Udon with Stir-fry and Thai cucumber salad
Flavorful with hoison sauce, lemon zest, jalapeno pepper, red pepper, leeks and mushrooms, served with udon noodles. This recipe came from a vegetarian cookbook.
All meat FREE so she will be begging for some meat later in the night!! lol

I like Kabab with really hot chillie sause...yumm yumm
My signature dish is...
flapjacks!
I like cooking. Which I do a lot of.
Its not worth knocking your guts out if your guests are either drunk, have no taste or not even hungry.
Many only need a starter or snack and the rest is fabulous, even if they can't actually remember what it was.
Try this for a starter. Good mushrooms. Butter and oli, Kikkoman soy sauce. Oil in the pan then the butter, cook the mushrooms add the soy sauce. It has to be this sauce, no crappy sugary flour bollocks.
if your guest does not like mushrooms, bash them over the head with the fucking wok and hide them in a cupboard.
Big pan of home made Beef Stew & Dumplings.....yum yum... wink
Was at a party last night and the food was West Indian - chicken, rice & peas....delicious
CheekyChimp.... cool

Pollo Leone,
Chicken breast in a white wine, cream, spring onion and dolciolette sauce.
Served with,
Fondant potatoes, Asparagus tips, Buttered Carrots and Sugarsnaps.

Strawberry tart and cream. wink
Spicy stir fry chicken on crispy noodle nests - takes flippin' ages.
Beans on Toast.....
Or if no bread, Lemon and Ginger chicken with homemade egg fried rice.
Spicy mexican fajitas, lots of Chilli, peppers, Mushrooms, Garlic, Tomatoes. Bit boring perhaps but its good grub and pretty healthy as things go. all home made and NOTHING out a jar or tin.
