is there any recorded instance in the annals of SH, of a single woman, unknown previously to the man, of ever turning up to meet him in a hotel room? Realistically its pretty unlikely that any woman will be so desperate for sex that they will rspond positively (except as a wind-up) to such an unlikely and unsafe invitation. Interesting question. It's not something I would ever see myself doing, mainly because of the safety aspect but also because I like to get to know someone first. I've always assumed it does happen, though.
i have met somone after only chatting for a short time in the chatrooms ........ wish i had not as it was scary and sureal. i wont be doing it again. i think it was more the fantisy i was going along with rather than anything else
About a year after joining I met a woman at her home. She was quite prepared for it. No lengthy, 'worried' exchanges by emails or whatever. She gave me a number on a Saturday and we met about 2am on Sunday, at her house. But then again I am 50 she was late 30's early 40's. So maybe there was more trust, confidence and 'knowingness' between us. There is something about switching from your fantasy wishful thinking to suddenly dealing with a real meet in such a short timescale. But if one does it enough it becomes familiar. (Not that I claim to be in that category.) The location can be either useful or not, depending also on how you respond to it. Many years ago I met up with a 'date', and we both sensed that sex was imminent; so we dived into a cheapy hotel for a couple of hours. But we both became aware of the surroundings, as being functional but not that comfortable.
