Thanks for your comments westerross. In an ideal world i wouldnt want to the the dirty on someone elses wife but the problem is, probably half the single men on here are probably involved with someone. I already had a meet with someone then found out after that he was with someone and i did feel quite guilty. So not sure whether its better that they tell they are involved or not. Maybe what you dont know cant hurt you.

How can people say things like 'probably half the single men on here are probably involved with someone' and 'probably because 95% do lie'? Where do you get the figures from? It's very silly to make those kinds of comments and to be fair, they are unlikely to be accurate.

As a construtive point maybe our site owners would consider some new statuses?
Single Male Icon
Single Male icon - Wedding Band
Same for females. As a married bloke whose wife does know but has no interest in coming on the site I am down as a single male (since it seems the most accurate as you will only ever meet me) but marked as married in the profile. A couple of extra icons would enable me to be easily spotted as member of a couple but plays as a single ?
(or in my case doesn't play as a single, doesn't play but you get the idea anyways)

Bingo... everyone knows it is 86.3% who lie (more so about their age and looks) and 67.8% of men who are involved with someone already (the remaining 32.2% are the mingtons who can't get a shag anywhere)

The problem with making more little symbols is... there are plenty who choose not to use the correct one already (or indeed tick the right boxes). It is not really that difficult to spot who is attached and who is not - availability times is usually a good indicator.

It is one thing to ask people for their opinions about the subject generally - and how we feel as individuals about the situation may well be a complex matter.
Asking advice on who should or shouldn't be met is not something anyone can really give/take advice on - what if the majority suggest something the individual is not happy with... should they follow the advice?
Regardless of how other people feel there is only one person who truely knows how you feel.
