okay.... so I take it that when you are talking about people replying to you, you are talking about your ad.... so I had a gander at it....
the only thing i noticed is that you specified an age, but nothing else.........
tall/short/fat/thin/black/white/green with purple spots ect ect ect
accom/travel.. single guy or one playing away ect ect...
i have found that the more specific you are about the person you are after, the less people answer your ad, and the people that do answer them are more likely to be what you are after......
so at the moment you say anyone "over 40".... so would that be 41...... 50..... 60..... 70....80 ect?

Could you clarify as to why you think they are all " bullshitters " ?
We know there are some tossers on here but that applies to any site. We have met some really nice guys, and some a lot more than just the once.
I would be intrigued as to why your comment above is saying they all are like that, which they are not.
At a recent social we met all sorts of people. Met some really nice single men.. there was a couple of ahem dodgy sorts but the rest was fine.
You will get this in any walk of life hun, and shouldn't tar all with the same brush.

I'm probably going to get some stick for saying this as I'm 'putting people into boxes' but it's one of my bad points and I'm just gonna say it anyway! :twisted:
I've found, out of all the guys I've chatted to on here and theres been a lot. The ones with the most manners, respect and common sense are the ones who take the time to use the forums
And no, I'm not sucking arse! It's just a general observation and I think if people are honest, they'll find a trend there too.
Not saying there's no exceptions to the 'rule' as thats inevitable and rules are made to be broken of course...
.. but in general if you want a non-pushy conversation with experienced and well mannered single men, you're in the right place.

Why do the people who post to start these threads always seem to think there hard done to and its just them??!!! We ALL get the bullshit... and we will always get it.

I would just like to add... that its not only the single guys who are full of bullshit either. A guy in my reg chatroom went to meet a cpl a few weeks back.. He drove 40 miles.. When calling to say he was close... the laffed at him and hung the phone up!!!

I've never met anyone from here who posts on the forum so I can't say if they are the best bet or not. I've had one disappointing experience from a regular poster though, which was a tad upsetting.
I think it is more about learning the difference between types of responses. People that are not in a huge hurry, but willing to go at your pace, willing to show decent pictures that are not all about 'cock' and can converse are often the best. I also prefer to meet for a drink prior to fun, so if there is going to be a problem it is ironed out before any real commitment, expense or time has been invested.
If you are looking for impulse meets you will always get 'no shows', at least a third don't turn up at any given party or meet and often with no explanation.
A lot of people opt to meet at clubs, that way should anything go wrong you can still salvage the evening and enjoy. How about arranging a meet at a hotel near a club, so if they don't turn up you can pop over to the club instead?
