Site Changes

Is there any news on the new changes yet? Martin posted on Monday night that some would appear within 48 hours and that doesn't seem to have happened yet.
In particular, the combined log in system, is that going to be soon? Things seem to have gone quiet again . . .

I changed my password for forums quite a while ago.
I tried to log in to my photo ads account last night and couldn't.
After trying all the passwords I could remember, I emailed 'can't remember password'.
My password for forums is the the same as my password for photo ads. :shock:
Is that an update, or me just being pissed and forgetting I'd changed it ? confused

I know that the men in white coats have been running around SH Towers testing the changes recently. I heard one of them mutter something about there being a problem with the Fo-Foo Valve and that there was a bent Giggle pin, so they are going to be continuing testing next week, and I think there will be a slight delay in going live with it. confused

Sarge is right, we sorted out the Fo-Foo valve but the Giggle pin is holding us up, I'll ammend the announcement.

I think that while you've sorted the fo-foo valve the foo-bar valve on the photo ads has been opened just a little to much as the photos are coming up "page not found" and I need a mucky photo fix, lol.

I dont even get to see the thumbs as it comes up "click to view photo...." which i'm assuming is a site thing that runs for non standard formats (not jpg) or is presented when the system is creating thumbs from the original posted photos.
i've just pm'd st3v3 with some adds showing the problem to make sure its not a case of ntl or my set up causing the problems....
Hopefully i'll be wanking over the mucky pics soon ;-) :-) :-P

You need to look at the manner in which the giggle pin connects to the laughing shaft as i believe that can be a common place for problems to arise.... biggrin

I have a feeling the Hydraulic Pushrod Tube is becomming a bit on the flacid side wink

It can be simply repaired by having a bit of lead in the pencil.

Personally I think the flugelbinders have worn away from the clicky splodger. Nothing we can't fix though!!!

did anybody check the fuse it's allways the fuse ,then you realise you aint got a spare so you get the one out of iron.

Whatever it is, please fix it... Site going slower than a very slow thing in photo adds and half the pics not working... at least from here.
