I'm just a little frustrated because being quite new I was just starting to enjoy myself in the chatroom on cam, but I find it a bit creepy knowing someone may be hiding, surely swinging is all about consent ?... Only way I see around it is to open a room with a password....Then I'll know who's watching me....seems a shame though as I was just starting to make friends..Hugs anyway and thanks for being nice to me on my first post. 
I know this is going to come across as a bit silly, but I hope it makes a little sense. Firstly about the extra package and Suzie, and a quick Hi to Suzie, I know I've spoken in chat and do agree with some of the things you say, but the way I look at it, you are still a free member, the extra package as far as I can tell did not say any thing about membership, it is just what it says on the tin, to quote a previous post, it is an extras package,so technically you are still a free member, just bought a few extras. Just to go through some of the "extras" some of them are worth precisly diddly, unless you like pretty pictures and colours.
I meet people through the chatroom, and IMO it is probably better to meet people after a long chat than trawlling through ads, after ignoring the "I'm lonely can I shag you" ones. so highlighting them to me is pretty worthless. Winks are a pain I can live with, ( 20 a day or so is easily put in ignore) Priority support, o well some body goes first, i can queue, no worries. Pictures, 12 is plenty to get your message across, 250!!! what is this a porn shop?.. people only need to see what you look like

The stealth cam thingy, me and the mrs have only been on cam a few times , and quite frankly , I dont give a monkeys who'swatching and who isnt, if you assume every extra member in the room is watching you then take steps to avoid, If you dont want them to kick them if its your room or dont go on cam.. but I'll add to this later. (see block cam option).
this site seems to be heading for a single male's meat market, the bone with me is the chatrooms, and i think th extra package should of dealt with this a lot more, If anybody knows me , they know I like to chat, a camera going up in a chat room kills all that. You can be in a room of 10 people chatting away quite nicely, arranging meets, somebody comes in, opens their cam, suddenly you've got 60 singles males giving it," get your tits out". any sensible chat then, is out the window. this is what really annoys me.
personally I wouldnt pay 25 quid for the extras as they are, what I would pay £25 for is
1 an Ignore button in chat, seems to be standard everywhere else.
2 you cant view my cam button, personaly that should be a standard feature.
3 if you're kicked from a room, you cant get back in for 10 mins. ( how many room owners have to kick the same person, for him to be in again the next second)
4 a room filter system, for example if i express a wish just for cpls room, single shouldn't be even able to get in, and not having to kick the same git all the time.

A person/people who has aided the community over a period of months/years, has organised Munchs and socials often out of there own pocket for the bennefit of other users new and old. Someone/some people who for months/years has used the photo ads section to meet other swingers in a responsible way thus enhancing the scene for everyone. A person/people whop have spent countless hours in various forums giving guidance to new and old memebers whilst at the same time creating a fun entertaining enviroment in which other members can interact. A person/people who have advised others on clubs and taken the time to arange meets at clubs or personaly meet other users at clubs sometimes at expense to themselves. A lot of the "fee" members have "paid" their dues, supporting newbies organising munchies and being ops and moderators. The ops/mods etc should continue to have full membership at no cost IMHO to help keep this community expanding and understandable for all who wish to be part of it,

I cannot see other than for rather questionable reasons why anyone would want it, and we certainly would not meet anyone that we knew used this function. I agree - the Stealth thing is way too creepy and automatically delete the winks anyway.
However - I have to say a big CONGRATS on all other aspects I have seen so far on here. The free text in the profile is a Godsend!
So lads - apart from Stealth - it's a big thumbs up from me!

I don't post here much as I'm usually too busy to keep up with all the posts each day, but I use the chatroom lots and lots, this shall be a rare post
I've just read the whole thread (took a bit of time ) and have a few things to say about it all.
Firstly, the winks are a bit odd. When first introduced, I didn't realise what they were. I thought it would be the equivalent of, quite litterally, winking at someone to let them know you are online. I did it to a couple of people I know, before I realised it sends a crappy 'one liner' style message. Now I know, I shall not be using them again.
As a whole though, are they really a bad thing? It seems to me that it will simply make it easier for people to spot the timewasters. Whenever I reply to an ad, I always write a nice long letter, but rarely get a response. I always assumed that this was probably because people were tired of having 15 million crap mails and by the time they got to mine, they had started to delete them without even reading them.
Maybe an answer to this, would be not to simply have an optional block on winks, but maybe a filter. The filter could be set up so that if the message has a certain phrase in it, it is automatically deleted.
The main problem I noticed was the 'stealth mode'.
I have already chatted to a few people who are unhappy about that. It annoys me too, because I used to enjoy a face to face chat with them, but now they won't come on cam because people are hiding behind their stealth mode. I was thinking of upgrading to Extras, but now that I hear I will automatically be on stealth mode, I won't be doing it. I agree that it is a bad idea and will attract the wrong kind of people to this site.

I really do understand your concern, but are you going over the top a teeny bit? I like to know who is watching me too, but usually I don't know them and I'm sure most of the people watching you, you didn't know, nor even notice half the time. So is there a huge difference?
After people have already paid for the extras package, taking stealth away isn't an option. However, would it be possible to add the option to block stealth people from viewing my cam? You could even make this part of the extras pack.
I hope something like this can be sorted out, because I like the look of some of the options in the Extras, but I don't want to stealth, be stealthed or be treated with suspicion in the chatroom for having an extras 'x'

That sounds an excellent idea Mike!!
If the Xtras included EXTRA privacy options - I'd sign up immediately.
But maybe not a blanket ban on Stealth though, more a ban on specific users viewing would be preferable within Xtras. There are some people who have already signed up who I have no issues with viewing my cam. But there a some freeview and Xtra users who I would love to have the facility to exclude
I expect this maybe a bit of a biggie to introduce - and may not even be possible - but I expect this would satify a hell of a lot of people - and potentially generate more revenue for the site too!

Another couple of problems - this time with the chatroom:
1) Since the new button has been introduced to allow swapping between servers whilst in chat, all chatroom text used has been resized with the spacing between lines reduced. This results in letters with tails (p, g, y etc) being truncated vertically. I've tried changing the zoom option on Flash but this makes no difference. Is this a server-based problem or is there something I need to change locally?
2) If I lose the connection to the chatroom for whatever reason, I can't get straight back in by refreshing the window. I get an error message stating that I'm still logged into the chatroom and advising me to wait 5 minutes before trying again
The second one is the biggest pain as losing connection can happen for any number of reasons and is pretty frequent at the moment.
Does this also mean we'll only be able to log into one room at a time too?

Oh I can answer this one, I believe it is just to allow more stability for the next couple of months till we get the new coding in place

Everyone seems to be talking about free members (members that had membership from when the site was free) and paying members (members paid £25 for extras) Well where the feck do we come then (Members that paid £50 earlier this year have the same stuff as free members but no extras) We personally couldnt give a toss about getting more than time served members most of us here are just looking to enjoy ourselves however that maybe. The issues are that regardless of if you pay or not the stealth mode is totally out of order and get rid. The winks in the standard format are a waste of time(read peoples profiles, most dont want 1 liners) and is a wink that you can alter when youve paid £25 not mail????.
If you want to generate revenue ask the punters what they would change about the site.......
Things that are business critical i.e. the amount of fakes (do something about)
Things that are pretty and highlight your profile(Charge what ever you can get away with)

When I've come to put an advert on my profile I would like to choose the category "couple seeking couple" because thats what we are. I don't want to change my account to a couple one overall though I have selected the "couple" option in my profile under status. It comes up with various options but not the one we want!
Could this automatic selection system be changed please so we can put our advert in the correct section?
