OK so summer is on the way at last and its time to get rid of the winter fat I really love food so any motivational tips and words of encouragement greatly appreciated !! I'm sure i am not alone xxxxxxx
You've had some very sensible tips ... but for me (and I'm not saying it's the right way for everyone), I say bollox to being sensible; I've got way too much to lose to do it at half a poxy pound a week (done that, been there). I'm back on Cambridge - lost 13lb in my first 10 days and will carry on at a stone a month. Also signed up at the gym to tone as it goes. Bish bash bosh
We are running our own slimming club here in Bristol to get you fit for summer and al fresco fun. Its really simple..........................it involves you being tied to our bed and given copious amounts of physical training. Oh and we find a ball gag helps the ability to eat quite well......... Good luck with the slimming!

oy chubs lose weight! its a joke right for the record you look fantastic etc etc blah blah but of course that means nothing to you cos its how you feel etc that matters.... weightwatchers :excellent ...losing a pound or less aweek would be more than enough to keep most people happy..work it out over a year, it really does help sustain the weight loss... eating less and moving more does not work, unless you take it too extremes, then its just not healthy, its what you eat that matters , i had real trouble getting my head round this one but im afraid its a fact, you pay a few quid to weight watchers and they help you control your intake of food, you can make it as tough as you want , you will get to learn the good and the bad foods to eat..ie those that leave you hungry and are high in allowable points..eg your choice a couple of chocolates and hinger pains all day or a plate full of suede and a chicken breast carrots and gravy for the same points?? welikes rose and i have been doing this for long enough to know it works and know which foods are best to avoid...feel free to contact us anytime for support or help btw i do it in the respect i do the cooking for rose, rose does the dieting.. staggy and rose

Put a picture of me on your fridge. If you weigh less, you can run faster
Last year I lost 23lbs by exercise and cutting out the silly stuff .. cakes, biccis etc., but also cut right down on wine. My body cannot tolerate too many carbs., I find when I fill up on proteins I don't get so hungry and crave stuff. The weight drops off when I stick to this but it can be hard as sometimes I would love to stuff a great big pizza down my neck!
Brilliant, thanks everyone, keep em coming. Ian, love that idea about running faster hehe I'm gonna join weightwatchers on Monday morning , I think its the perfect way to start the week even tho ive already been cutting down for a few days. As I'm typing this theres a pizza sitting on the table nearby and I have resisted it so thanks all for the encouragement .NN, not ready for the gym yet but ive been using a stepper. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx A few words a day helps keep me focused and remind me not to cheat !!
The best way to go about it properly and to maintain the correct motivation is to get a personal trainer at your local gym. You don't need to pay for one every time, but maybe once a week out of a 3 day a week training schedule. I do personal training and the people I train have all said that they would not have as much motivation where it not for me "encouraging them" to work a little harder, go a little faster and try a little more. Personal Trainers also devise healthy eating plans and minor lifestyle changes that can really make a difference in the bigger picture. A personal trainer will usually cost between £15 and £20 an hour and once a week that is not too bad considering the benefits you will get compared to training or "going it alone", I'm sure your local gym will be able to help!! Good Luck!!
Do exercise that you enjoy doing. Don't go on a diet, if you tell yourself you can't have something, you'll want it all the more, have the things you like, just have less of them. Eat something substantial for breakfast, preferably oat based (poridge or oatcakes are great) H.x
Well done on your decision to join WW. Their plans do work if you stick at them and there is the added motivation of group meetings and weekly weigh ins. The WW site has lots of forums and you will get loads of support there. Good luck
