I'd love a group to be formed naming themselves 'revels' so you get a bit of everything and always someone there to their taste.
I personally would love to see a group that was well mixed with fit guys from all backgrounds/colour and races.
The link you refer to was tongue and cheek and not entirely serious. I think one thing that does need to be acknowledged in swinging though is that preference and fantasy are valid and fair. Some people may just be looking for black guys, or white guys etc and if the person they are looking for is willing to accept that they are being a fantasy or preference then where does politics come into it?

Is it that society leads me to not mentioning my colour as being white, Just maybe there might be the feeling that by waving the 'White guy' flag then some may take offence? I as a white guy have no and have never had an axe to grind against anyone other than the French. Sometimes i'd like to believe that it would be wrong to state the colour of a persons skin but realise that while the difference is noted by people then not to mention it would be wrong I guess. One day maybe it will be possible that people will live without even contemplating the fact that there are different colours of skin.

As for being too stupid to post the topic Phuckers I don't think so by far. I do believe the time is coming that there will be honest open debate about how a white or a yellow or a black person feels about how people of a differing colour view them and how we feel about living alongside each other. Have we gone far enough along the road of mutual acceptance to do this? I hope so. This can only be for the good.

Just a thought. If the use of the word black in a nursery rhyme was an insult to black people, what we would be saying is that being black is bad. And we should pretend the person isn't black cos that would be to insult them - which is obviously ridiculous. Is this making sense?
A corollary (by gum I spelled it right LOL). Calling me size 18 cannot in itself be an insult because I AM size 18. But even if it was, the idea of banning the term "18 to 30 holiday" and replacing it with "young adult to early middle age holiday" would be utterly ridiculous.
Black people do tend to use the word 'black' very happily, so for others to ban the word in totally unconnected applications is meaningless, insulting and ignorant.
I WILL use the terms; Black Board, Manhole, Brain Storm, and I WILL teach my grandchildren to sing Baa Baa Black sheep as well as White Christmas. And if anyone objects they can take it up with my lovely hubby (who you may know is a lovely shade of chocolate).
And a preference for one or another colour is no stranger than a preference for taller/shorter or muscly/skinny. It's just a preference. And discussing differences is OK. I have little preference for body shape but I like dark skin - so what?
