we have had snow showers here in newcastle all day.... nothing lying so far... however we have an overnight weather watch with fairly heavy snow forecast....
I reckon 4 inches should be enough to cry off work tomorrow... here is hoping!!!

Looked out the window one minute, nothing.
Looked out 5 minutes later and the place was like a scene from a Christmas card.
Roads look pretty hazardous though, so take care if your in the area.

Started snowing here about an hour ago ... not very heavy at the moment but on our country roads its a bit dodgy so if anyones out and about ... be careful

but the weather is usually bloody cold) East Yorks and it's a beautifull sunny day. Drive back to Cheshire this afternoon and it's snowing like hell again

mik69...big snow around knutsford at 5 pm .it had died out by holmes chapel/middlewich.i travelled to marple and chapel-en-le-frith today and it was ok up there but snowing in stockport at 3pm.
