Now I know not everyone will have Monday off, but those that do... are you doing anything special for the long weekend?
So far I appear to be spending it in domestic splendour: pottering around my new house, making it feel like home.
Anyone doing 'owt exciting?
It's my Grandma's Birthday on Monday so going to go and visit her. Might be able to pop over to chez Nola in the afternoon if you're around for a coffee?
ust the usual.....get rat arsed friday night.....then spend the rest o' the weekend recovering.
I'll be catching up with the work I need to do to get my car through it's MOT and back on the road.
playing with puppies !!!!!
Went visiting the children on saturday as we've not seen them for a few years!!!
Had a fantastic day meeting up & a meal in the pub..
Today we went to the pictures to see Avengers Assemble which was fantastic..
Monday is a lazy day as i've got to be at work for 01:15am
Yesterday was town and watching Avengers. Great film, and saw previews for a few others to look out for. Today was allotments and recovery (the two go hand in hand at my age). Tomorrow I assume it will be housework and watching the rain make the garden and allotment too soggy to work in. Grrrrrrrr
I think this time right now (Sunday, 8:15pm) is the perfect time over a Bank Holiday weekend... 'cos I'm just revelling in not having to do anything for work tomorrow! :bounce:
bought a new umbrella, sheltered from the rain, gazed at grass over 6 inches high, fumed at the weeds growing everywhere..............
Ok, so had a bad day and moaned at every comment on here so far. Apologies to all. Gin needed. Lots.
Gave the new tent a test run in Northumberland .... stayed dry (us and the tent)
