Now I know not everyone will have Monday off, but those that do... are you doing anything special for the long weekend?
So far I appear to be spending it in domestic splendour: pottering around my new house, making it feel like home.
Anyone doing 'owt exciting?
Nola,
G/F here tonight, then 2 G/F's tomorrow, then the 'girls' heading off to Turkey for a week on Monday
so if bored 'pottering' before then, pop over
innocent
Thanking you kindly... but I'm loving the pottering!
I'm garden planning at the mo lol
It's my Grandma's Birthday on Monday so going to go and visit her. Might be able to pop over to chez Nola in the afternoon if you're around for a coffee?

That'd be great!
:bounce: You'd be very welcome.
ust the usual.....get rat arsed friday night.....then spend the rest o' the weekend recovering.
Looks like I will have to go out to the shops again banghead
Decided to treat ourselves to a couple of tablet pc thingies and after spending the whole day playing with them, we have come to the conclusion they are a pile of shite.
The market place on them is useless, I cant down Flash Player, and just hate them.
So back to the store tomorrow for my money back and maybe see if we can find a better option.
I'll be catching up with the work I need to do to get my car through it's MOT and back on the road.

Do you need a "hand" with that? i'm sure you'll be back on the road in no time :giggle:

Woring, but of coarse, that is fun lol

Trying to decide if you meant whoring or working Blue, although I suppose that could be one and the same

Dean I would like to think that they were the kind usually found in a brassiere...but I take it you mean the hairy variety :-)
Sorting out my new house here too Nola. Been living out of boxes all week but had a productive day yesterday cleaning the kitchen and getting stuff sorted into cupboards there before moving onto the flat pack shelving in the living room. Looking better already. smile Just got the bedroom to do now. Slight problem in that the two halves of the bed base won't go round the corner at the top of the stairs, but will get them up there somehow if it kills me! mad

Hmm, you cant switch them on and off so I guess the only thing left to do is bang them lol
Best take the kids out tomorrow. They have not been anywhere other than the garden and the shop so far. Got the garden grass cut today some pictures hung up, finished decorating our bedroom  So best make tomorrow kids day then biggrin
Went visiting the children on saturday as we've not seen them for a few years!!!
Had a fantastic day meeting up & a meal in the pub..
Today we went to the pictures to see Avengers Assemble which was fantastic..
Monday is a lazy day as i've got to be at work for 01:15am
I went to a family reunion yesterday drinkies:drinkies: I'm spending today suffering and drinking coffee
Yesterday was town and watching Avengers. Great film, and saw previews for a few others to look out for. Today was allotments and recovery (the two go hand in hand at my age). Tomorrow I assume it will be housework and watching the rain make the garden and allotment too soggy to work in. Grrrrrrrr
I think this time right now (Sunday, 8:15pm) is the perfect time over a Bank Holiday weekend... 'cos I'm just revelling in not having to do anything for work tomorrow! :bounce:

bought a new umbrella, sheltered from the rain, gazed at grass over 6 inches high, fumed at the weeds growing everywhere..............
Ok, so had a bad day and moaned at every comment on here so far. Apologies to all. Gin needed. Lots.
Gave the new tent a test run in Northumberland .... stayed dry (us and the tent)
