So this is Christmas...

So in the words of that very famous record which gets me choked every time...
What have you done with 2007?
Me? I've done quite a lot actually...
- I've successfully lost weight (a modest amount but it's a start! lol )
- I successfully passed year 1 of my course
- I've enjoyed 2 holidays abroad
- Other than a minor operation I've had a year of good health
- We've had some extrememly horny fun and meets 69position
- I've realised it's pants being a parent, the fun part's on hold.. confused
- I've made quite a few really nice friends in this forum kiss
- and finally, we're broke! (well isn't everyone at this time of year..?)

i finished my job in january :cry:
made friends with and met lots of nice peeps on here
got my son diagnosed and medicated for ADHD
had lots of work done on my house and still trying to decorate after them
had 2 holidays
yup another wasted year i had big plans to rolleyes

repaired the back room ceiling due to sink up stairs
decorated....
cut the trees in the garden,,,,
had 1 off the biggest swinging parties at ours,,,
made lots of new friends,,,,
and then the goverment ruins it by putting up rates/petrol/cost of living,,,,

I think most of us feel like this every year don't we, best laid plans etc etc... so many people feel negative and sad at the turn of the year but I think (and I have reason to think this) it can also signify a new start.. maybe I'm wrong tho sad

OK- I'll keep to the happyish stuff!
Spent loads of time helping out with a friends wreck in France- and loved it.
Flown for the first time, to our first ever "Sun & Sand" kinda holiday.
Hijacked a tram (loon) whilst sober :shock:
Found "my" role on the ship I crew.
Decided to take a break from TKD, and that I need to stop being in my best mates shadow.
Realised that quitting something is not necessarily a bad thing, if you've realised it's not what you wanted.
Finally gotten it back on with someone-after an all too long wait of two years.
Started to really think about what does it for me in the boudoir-and assert myself.
Been to a swingers club for the first time(and realised I was right, it wasn't my thing.)
Been to my first social.
Realised there are some wonderful people on SH- some of whom I feel honoured to class as my friends.
Fallen even more in love with Mr W, as he's making some concessions for me that I know are tough for him.:inlove:
Nothing major really- but it's been the year from hell so the real achievement has been staying afloat!

hmmmm this year I have........

seen my youngest staet 'big' school (reception class)
and seen my only daughter become a buddling basketball star
coped with alsorts of highs and lows....anmd am still here to live to tell the tale lol :lol:

*Sang Karaeoke badly at social
*Fall more n more deeply in love than ever with Robbie- he is truly my soul mate!!!

this year.... well shaz passed her driving test for ... 2 made some nice friends shaz passed her level 3 in food hygine.... drank a few bottles of jack daniels. oh and drank some more jd.... went to a few clubs now we have car....went abroad once, had a nice meal with good friends....... oh last thing mr tyne will escape xmas....he in rehab

Kept my business going for a 3rd year ie kept a roof over my head, fed and clothed myself and my family.
Met some lovelies on here, of whom one has become a really good (secret) friend. (Hi W)
Grown in confidence as a person through swinging and business networking so I can now stand up and talk in a room of 25 people without thinking I am going to die on the spot.

Cool, I did this a few years back, really enjoyed it... didn't get the promised promotion following it though but it's helped me with quite a bit on my current course.

Seen my eldest daughter off to secondary school sad
Completed an important course ( got a B biggrin )
Booked a wedding date :thrilled:
Gained two new niece's :happy:
Had a well deserved holiday abroad.
Made some great friend's.
