we`ve done stonehenge cornwall south wales birmingham...............so where would anyone like to go that they havent seen???
and who`s on a cheap london - coach route fancies a pint one weekend???
Never been to West Ham......sounds a lovely place to visit lol
I want to explore more of Scotland, some stunning places to visit..............fantastic walking, drinking, shagging in the open....just gotta be careful of the weather....and you just cant beat the whiskey tours lol
London ! Sounds really scarey when you come from such a sheltered upbringing like me and from an inbred village where everyone knows everyone else's business.
Think you need a change every now and again, I'd like to do something spontaneously different.! Just never have the chance.

Hello,
If you want a day trip out from London you could enjoy walks using cheap day return train tickets to get out to Singles Outdoor Club walks (Naturist - Non-sexual) Plenty of really quiet get away from it all places with great scenic views/ feeling part of the countryside? Se their website?
Plenty of unspoilt coastlines too with a little research? Kent and the south downs are quiet too.
Northumberland is really great if you get off the track and the beaches/dunes are unbeatable but the same kind of weather as Scotland.
lincoln and the nearby Wolds are interesting and attractive
North Wales, castles mountaind rivers etc
I'm rabbitting. There's so much to go at - want to narrow the field and tell us what kind of thing you are looking for?
Just go and stay off the motorways and beaten track and you could find yourself in real britain
best wishes, Shay
(more ideas if you want)

we will get you there..... or you could always try ... they are always good for cheap fares....

i've driven to, and through just about every major town or city in the uk, and quite a few smaller.
i don't think there are many roads i haven't been on, but i often used to wish i had the time to actually seesome of the places i've been - if you know what i mean.
one of my favourite roads in the whole of europe used to be the old A74 from glasgow to carlilse.
i was lucky enough a few (??) years ago to regularly pull out of glasgow during the summer months at just about sunrise.
a coupl of the hills were a pain in the arse, but the scenery was both breathtaking and magnificent. Even better in some parts and in some ways better than from the top of the Harz Mountains that are the "natural" border bewteen east and west germany.
Through work I've visited 95% ofl the UK's cities but never had long enough to explore them (or their people!). I've lived in Cambridge, London and Manchester and loved all 3, but for very different reasons.
I, like a lot of people, would love to spend time in Scotland, but also the Lake District looks beautiful. biggrin
Oxfordshire is very pretty, some lovely little pubs..........fantastic food and great Oxford itself is really nice, apart from the bus loads of visitors in the summer.
