How about a 'pamper' day.
I got one for my mum when she was in her seventies - she was over the moon!
They made her feel so special!

Sorry I cannot imagine a lady in her 60s in Pampers. I have heard of most things but nope older women in nappies just is not something many people think of

How about a really good framed family photoof you and your kids, or one of those slaves for a day, or an adventure day if she's still very active, or one those clothes shopping trips with a personal shopper, a concert ticket for a favourite group, a weekend theatre trip, or a picnic day with the whole family somewhere special.
Hope they give you some ideas.

Well what about an ornamental shrub
or what about a share in a dolphin or an animal in a local zoo
Wat about buying some trees in a woodland development.
what about buying some farm animals in Africa on her account
a CD player for her car?
a theatre or concert ticket
just thoughts
Gilbert
my mother is just as difficult!
HIya
How about you give her the money and she goes and sorts herself out.
Or take her to see a musical or something
Has she got a wish list - if you asked her would she tell you!
My mother is just as bad to buy for......
Good luck with your present buying.
smile
I bought this towel for my dads birthday ...........
he thinks it's great confused maybe your mum would like something like that? :lol2:

Hope this helps? biggrin
I kind of like Gilberts theatre night as a suggestion. Its what we treat my parents too because like yours they have most everthing they need, so a good night out at a show or something similar where they would't normally take themselves is a good idea, especially if you go along with them, always seems that that extra bit of effort has been made then.
what about cinema vouchers?
I hate giving and receiving just money or general vouchers, unless I know that the person would really need a monetary gift, but then I would like to think that I knew the person well enough to know about such a need and had maybe helped out if I could.
but we are talking mothers
what about a new mobile phone
vouchers for Ann Summers you never know
she maybe has her needs!!!
CHOCOLATE

So far, I think Ann Summers vouchers is the best suggestion. biggrin :D
I know if my mum was still here (she'd be 66, if she was) she'd be thrilled to bits that we still thought she had it in her. 69position blast hump

novice as someone whose kids think I am past it, what a loveley thought to believe our parents are not past it.
next time I am in AS I shall be looking for the older lady, and I will hope to catch her eye and whisper go girl!!!
not least if she has either the latest rabbit
a wonderful little maids outfit
the handcuffs
etc etc

cant see my mum being in AS, but she may not tell me everything!!!
